Tokyopop I believe is actually doing the Battle Royale Manga, dunno about the novel.

ya it's pretty dangerous to do a series if the author of the manga isn't proactive. Case in point is Rurouni Kenshin getting the shaft.

I'm new but I found this link that shows a possible air date of April 2003 on WOWOW for FMP2.

I don't know how reliable that information is, however it better be a 24-26 episode season instead of 12-13 or I'll be disappointed
