Oooops, too late to take back those nukes right?

Got V2 along with Anime Mission... not much of note, covers
the eps 4-7 arc of the anime in Khanka -- actually referred to
erringly? as taking place in Korea.

HOPING V3 -- Feb '04 rel BTW, ARGH!!! -- has the cover they've got
previewed in V2... let's just say I WISH Tessa & Kaname were that
friendly IRL *hehehehe*

Most country names were changed for the anime, not just Afghanistan- I don't think using Korea is a mistake. I think the original intent is for that to have been Korea (hence 'Khanka'- close enough) and the manga was running before 9/11.

I'm curious to know if there's N and S Korea in FMP's world, or if it's just all one.

p20, Gaulun refers to the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea,
so I'd say there is.

Yeah, that is where my thoughts were going, seeing as how the commie threat has to be a bit more successful in the story than it had been here.

YAY i love them !!! i just bought them today at my local borders i love them i love them i love them!!!!!! and kaname is on the cover!!!! hee hee

Picked up Vol3 today... YAY!!!!!! :happy: :happy:
Some quick thoughts:

- nice cover, Kaname & Tessa.... like that

- Kaname fans rejoice, there's a Kaname pinup insert
- no stories corresponding to FMP!, but two that came out as FMP!F eps:
Tessa attending Jundai H. and the infamous beach ep

- Kaname is as violent to Sousuke as usual... go figure

- some nice artwork all around

Quick words on the stories:
#15 Suspicion, confusion, and aggravation at the basketball tournament
Someone's out to spoil the Jindai H. girls basketball tourney. Kaname
and Mizuki's friendship grows a bit this chap, and Kaname gets QUITE
catty with a rival on the bball team
#16 A Mystery? Just Who is this exchange student
#17 Together under one roof
The basis for the first FMP!F Tessa ep, but the two TOTALLY differ.
Tessa arrives, escorted by Mao, to check on Kaname, and explains
a bit more to her about Whispered. Oh, she likes to hang her Jindai H.
uniform quite prominently in her... ahem, office. Kaname's jealousy
rears its head when she misinterprets Tessa's 'interest' in Sousuke,
but Tessa shows absolutely NO personal interest in Sousuke this arc.
#18 The miracle animal mission
Sousuke and Kaname on a *NOT* date to the zoo *hehe*
#19 Holidays are for romance
The beach ep... you know, Kaname's bikini, smash a watermelon
with a shotgun, etc.

#20 I ain't afraid of no ghost! Deserted island search team
Requisite ghostbusting in anime / manga

Get it while its hot, ppl!!!

Next vol's in April... ARGH!!

woohoo.....just a few more days (or weeks) til vol. 4! i got my roommate into collecting FMP!, so i kinda have some competition. ^^;;
