FullMetal*Panic!

Hi all!

I'm somewhat of a noob when it comes the "full" metal panic seeing as I have only watched the anime.

My question is, can someone tell me how - storywise - the anime relates to the vavious novels/mangas/etc?

I have come to understand that there is a lot more story than just the anime and my second question would be, where, if at all, can I get the continuation of the story in enlish? Does it even exist in english?

I would very much appreciate if someone could clear this things up for me.

PS. Just to make things clear, I'm asking for officialy published material, nothing else.

Please have a look in the vets section. There are several threads (a couple of them are stickies) about the FMP novels that will answer most if not all your questions.
