Ditto here. Also, if the numbers on the art are dates, I hope it is significant that both Chidori and Sagara are SMILING in the second one! Call me a softy, but I really hope FMP doesn't turn out to be one of those "EVERYBODY DIES!" deals.

Actually the second IS the last final one!
And like you, base on that cover, i KNOW that not only is there a happy ending, but seeing those two tgoether means they will be happy TOGETHER....
There is no bad ending, i know it.

In Japan the book is announced in a commercial using Sousuke's jap Voice Actor!

No one pays the original actor to announce a book his character is in unless something is up...

That does sound like something might be up. Now, if someone can just get Kyoto Ani off the moe stuff long enough for the project. I am probably repeating myself, but I really, really like the art in TSR and Fumofu, so I hope KA is the animation house.
I'd like to see them animate 'Dancing Merry Christmas' and some of the Jindai stuff for a season of funny and serious stories. Then do a season that would feature the current story arc. Okay, I know-- I am being greedy.

I really, really hope the end of the novel series means we get a final season. Apparantly at a con in Sydney during a Q&A session Vic Mignogna was asked about another season of FMP and said that he had been tentatively approached for one or two more seasons of FMP, but that no one should get their hopes up because nothing was confirmed. Personally, I am going to get my hopes up extremely high

Argh, the first book ends in such an annoying place!
I wish I had waited until the final one is out before I read it. It's hard to believe it is finally coming to an end after all these years, but I hope it is true that more short stories will continue to be released.
