Shark-Won't-Bite Level 1 - ok protection - when the author decides to include a sexual scene but makes it rather more tasteful than a porno flick.... this one is also very good...

The host for sphere-zero has a no-adult material rule. Of course they don't specifically define 'adult' but I consider Level 2 to be that.

Level 1 probably clears- its all in the wording, explicit is all I'm trying to avoid.

There's nothing about links to adult material, so any links to any Level 2 stuff is okay (but a warning of content of said link is greatly appreciated).
I can also host adult material on my other host, and they can be linked to from here.

I'm nitpicky on following the host's rules because any publicly available breach can be reported to them by anybody, which could lead to them pulling or suspending the whole site pending investigation (if they even investigate, that is). And that would suck. And while I personally don't care about what minors choose to do or read online, I don't want anything that could clearly constitute providing 'adult' material to minors cuz that's where laws start kicking in. Recent court cases default to the host- I'd have no recourse if they yanked the site.

Blackrose chose to post an edited version of her lemon chapter here- and also linked to the full thing, which worked well. But even just a plain link to a chapter hosted off-site works too.

Oh that's too rich! I was just making that system up for play, but it was actually useful after all? I can't speak for dd but I get the feeling he's tending more toward the Shark-Won't-Bite Level 0 (if not lower!) much to our despair.....

It's rather evil for the host not to actually define adult material though! The lemon shark mascot I drew could be considered adult by some people, and to others be fine. I guess since you haven't spoken up about it they pass the test? (and don't worry about me either, I wasn't going to be posting any "adult" pics. Maybe more fan service, but no actual nudity... It's already been agreed that plain nudity is boring anyway

)

I know it was banter, but I wouldn't try to predict what dd is gonna do

I'd been watching the lemon talk develop, and it felt like a good idea to drop that in there with such a easy system already laid out

The lemon shark.. looks too .. uh, yellow, to be adult material <g> (sometimes a banana is just a banana)

Well Jae, that raises a question.

Can you read over a section when it'd done and see what you think (it hasn't even been put together yet.)?

Folks get touchy over stuff. Over at FFic, someone must have complained when I accidentally left one story as a default G (Family Matters) instead of giving it a PG or PG-13. The story seemed pretty tame to me, but the fact that someone complained gave me a 7-day 'no-post' ban.

I don't intend on getting graphic... and things won't even get past 'third base' on screen, but what may seem tame to me.... (shouldn't end up worse than Dinner and Dessert)

Yay! I'm glad it gets the Dictator Stamp of Approval as far as appropriateness

One question though, what are "BOPs"? Boys on Patrol?

As a general comment on lemons - I found the fic you'd mentioned done by blackrose and this was me reading it ->

I mean, I've read most of Laurell Hamilton's books, but somehow it's different for FMP.... (LKHamilton = former favorite author of mine until she started writing bad porn instead of horror-fiction)

Do I get kicked off the lemon squad for blushing at Kaname and Sousuke getting intimate? *hopes not*

Thinking about what I wrote before, I want to clarify I'm not seeking to stamp out any or all possible complaints, since everyone can choose what they read. My only concern is that subjective place where the host might determine something to be in violation.
