It's from the color pages in volume 5 of the manga. I think you don't usually see scans of it precisely because it's a two page spread that otherwise needs to be pieced together. You could scan just the one side with Tessa's head, but then the picture's kind of unbalanced...ZyreX wrote:Nice tessa scan... hmm never seen it before though..
Ok... First I guess I should say that I don't mean this offensively - I did switch between both pics several times looking for anything discernably different other than color, and noticed nothing. The color on my picture has already been adjusted to cover the full color spectrum, your edit only washes out the color that's already there. What I did specifically in photoshop is, first thing after scanning, go to Image -> Adjustments -> Levels, then adjust the input levels so that there was no area at zero. It removes the washout from scanning while still remaining faithful to the original picture. Your edit has gone much farther than that, and washes out blue areas to white, her skin becomes more yellow like a lemon than actual skin color, her shirt starts to lose detail, black lines begin to disappear, and you lose much of the white water effects the original artist included.ZyreX wrote: anyway... It should look nicer now.. (deleted small scrapes and stuff here and there)
color should also be intensed..
I'm glad others are looking forward to it! It is such a moment from the manga, I remember being very disappointed with how it was shown in the anime, but the manga makes up for it I thinkAvlor wrote:ooh - I can't wait for you to finish the b&W one with Chidori an Sousuke!
