"Come in, Commander Mardukas. You do not have to knock everytime you come here." said Kalinin.

The British first officer came in with some folders and sat down in front of Kalinin's desk. " We,ve got some real problem, Andury.."

"Please, indulge me. Here, have a drink. I believe that this scotch will be more too your liking then my usual vodka." while Kalinin was offering Mardukas a shot of some posion.

Mardukas took the glass and one motion downed the entire shot. He then was shaking as it hit the back of his throat. "Thank you, Andury. That did hit the spot."

"What is the problem?" said Kalinin as he poured himself another shot of Scotch. He offered Richard another shot.

"No, thank you, Andury. I have here a preliminary report on the fight with the FRAC. Most of the equipment was made in the PRC, but was upgrade with Isreali or Tiawanese electronics. The Napoleons actually did not come France, but from Taiwan. The weapon that devestaed our forces we still haven't identified, but what ever it was, the shell was about 20 mm and was being thrown at aproximatelly Mach 15." said the first officer.

Kalinin sat back and pondered this new infomation. Except for the new weapon system that devasted his AS unit, the intell was very accurate. However, if the prelim reports were to believed, then somebody has some new gadget that would make convential weaponry obsulete. "any other news?"

"The Americans are about to test some new AS near San Deigo and have cordone off some of the seas to stop some onlookers. Also, we have lost sight of Tessa's brother, again. It would seem that our tails got jumped by some gangs in D.C."

"When are we going to learn to put him behind bars."

"You know we can't. We have no proof that he was part of anything that Gauron did. Oh, here's the infomation that you asked for." as Mardukas gave Kalinin four CDs. " I don't know why you wanted them, but here they are."

"Thank you, Richard. Anyword on the replacment ASs and crew?"

" The USNS Arthur Brooke is still loading the replacement right now. It is supposed to leave Long Beach, tonight. then, it will take just a little under a week befor it gets to us, so about a week. As for replacment personnel, I haven't anyword on that. That remind me, Sergant Weber is being accused of being disrespectful of Ensign Tauren and not allowing him to complete his duty. It would appear that the Ensign had some work that the Captain had to sign and Weber stopped him from doing it. I have assured the Ensign, that you will handle this. I have an idea of what had happened, but I will not allow my officers to be intimidated by your people when my officer are doing their duty, even when your people are in the right." said Mardukas as he got up.

" It will be taken care off, Richard. You have my word on it. i am certain that Sergant Major Mao will be taking the required action for this misshap." said Kalinin.

As Mardukas opened the door, he said. " I know. Thank you for the shot, Andury." The door closed as Kalinin reached for the link to the bridge.

Over the Ship's PA system "Sergent Major Mao, to Major Kalinin's office. Sergant Major Mao, Major Kalinin's office."

2 minor things:
1) FILLER!! EVIL!!
2) Kalinin's first name is actually Andrey... 'less there's another intent
for Mardukas calling him Sergei

Yes, it is filler, but serves a purpose, which is not to make my readers mad. I am sorry about misnamig Kalinin. Just thought that was his name. When the A21 hottie died, he gave her his name and I thought I heard it then.
