Well, I guess it's not Spam anymore, heres Part 1.

Originally, I was just using this to transfer my fan fic I type during class at school to my computer at home, since the school would not let me transfer it any other way, since Hellfire showed some interest, I updated it, and spaced it out (I hope) correctly.
I would like to continue it, but I basically only do it during class at school, so it would be a while, also note that I do like to change small errors every now and then, so I'll edit it some times, taking stuff out, or adding stuff in. Time line wise, it's supposed to happen between ODBD and DVMC, Hence the "What if it's like last time?", referring to him being forced to abandon Kaname. Anyways, enjoy Part 1.

Part 1
The Loss of Something Dear
#### Tokyo ####
1636 Hours
“Sousuke!”
A girl with black hair pulled out a paper fan from her bag, and
smacked the man in the head with it.
“Ch-Chidori! Be careful! This is a strange device, it could possibly
be a bomb! A similar looking item was used on a partner of mine in
Helmajistan, his hands where blown away and also part of his upper arm!”
The girl known as Kaname Chidori sighed, then picked up the toy
and handed it back to the child it was taken from. The child thanked her
and ran off.
“Really Sousuke…you’d think by now you’d know not to do this
kind of stuff, at LEAST not to an innocent child.” Kaname said.
“But…children are known to have been used…..” Sousuke’s
voice trailed off as he looked away, “…I’m sorry.”
“Well, it can’t be helped.” Kaname shook her head, but looked
back up and smiled at Sousuke, “Let’s go eat somewhere.”
“Where?”
“I don’t care, you decide.”
“But I don’t know…where do you want to go?”
“I said YOU decide? Can’t you do ANYTHING without my help?”
Sousuke stared at her face, she was angry again, he knew
that much, so he took a breath, and looked around, the first thing he saw
was a McDonalds.
“How about there?” he pointed at the McDonalds. Kaname
turned her head, when she saw it, she turned back to him and
looked at him with a tiredness of sorts in her eyes.
“I can get that anytime, let’s go somewhere we don’t go all the time.”
Sousuke started to disagree, but he recalled Kurz talking to
him about women once, “They all love fine dining, the more expensive,
the better, just show them a good time, maybe by the end of it you can
get them to a hotel!” Sousuke didn’t understand the last part, but he
understood the dining part. He looked around again.
“How about there?”
“Huh?” She turned her head, and saw one of the most
expensive restaurants in that part of town.
“Wh-what? Are you sure? That’s really expensive!”
“It’s no problem.” Sousuke said in his usual tone.
They walked into the restaurant together, they were greeted
by one of the waiters. “Ah, a couple? Table for two then~!” Kaname
started to correct him but he walked off, beckoning for them to follow.
They walked quietly together, following the waiter. He lead them to a
table in the middle of the floor, with two chairs, and two candles on the
table. They both took their seats, the waiter handed them menus, and
walked off.
“Wow...” Kaname said, taking a deep breath while looking at
the surroundings, there were couples everywhere, some kissing, some
laughing, some just talking cheerfully. She blushed. “It’s like were on a
date.” she thought to herself.
Sousuke, on the other hand, surveyed the surroundings,
taking into account parts of the restaurant that he should keep his eyes
on, there where windows, but he didn’t worry much about them, they
where all in front of him, however there were plenty of people behind
him, he had one hand on his Glock 26, just in case.
Sousuke reached out with his free hand to grab the menu,
suddenly there was some quick movement to his left, he turned his head
to look at it, while at the same time Kaname reached out, still looking
around as well, neither noticed their hands, until they touched. Sousuke
quickly turned his head, as did Kaname, they stared at each other for a
second.
“Sorry.”
They both said at the same time, blushing. But, neither moved
their hand, they sat there for some time, staring at each other.
“S-so, Sousuke, did you study for Japanese Literature?”
“Yes.”
“Oh…”
Kaname couldn’t think of what to say, she was just trying to
make small talk, it just seemed awkward to her, but, she enjoyed it,
sitting there with Sousuke, not worrying about anyone or anything else.
“What’s wrong with me?”, Sousuke’s heart was racing, he
wondered why he was so excited, he’s been calmer while being under
fire, but in this situation with Kaname, he just couldn’t calm down.
“Chidori…I-”
His phone started ringing, he let go of her hand and picked up his
phone, then answered it.
“Hello? Yes sir…yes…no problem…I’m on my way.”
Sousuke ended the call and sighed.
“Mithril?”
“Affirmative. Sorry Chidori, here, buy whatever you want.”
He handed her some money.
She looked away from him.
“Don’t go…what if it’s like last time?”
“…I have to.”
He stood up, and walked off, he turned his head to get one more
look at her, she was sitting there, with her head hanging low. He had that
feeling he wouldn’t see her for a while, but, he goes on missions all the
time, it wasn’t a big deal, he turned back, and walked out. He wasn’t
there when Kaname started crying.
#### In Transit Helicopter ####
1854 Hours
Sousuke sat in the helicopter, being briefed on the current
situation, “It’s another hostage situation.” Kalinin explained, “Our current
knowledge is of seven Rk-92s, the hostage is Konawa Taigatchi.” Kalinin
passed a picture around, it soon reached Sousuke.
His eyes widened.
“Chidori!?”
No, it wasn’t Kaname, but it was a close match, like some long lost
twin.
Sousuke raised his hand.
“Yes, Sergeant?”
“If the enemy force is composed of nothing more than Rk-92s,
then why was I called?”
Kalinin looked into his eyes, Sousuke clicked his tongue and
mumbled, “Lambda Driver…”
Kalinin nodded.
“We also believe there are three Codarls as well, of course
Sergeant Sagara will be the one engaging these three, after the Rk-92s
are dispatched, provide back up for Sagara. It’s safe to assume Amalgam
has something to do with this, be careful.”
After the briefing finished, Sousuke prepared, then got into the
Arbalest and started it, the AI’s deep voice greeted him.
<Welcome, Sergeant Sagara.>
“Al, how are you feeling?”
<According to my last maintenance check…>
Sousuke listened to Al’s report.
<Sergeant, you seem troubled, is there something I can help with?>
Sousuke shook his head.
“No.”
<…>
Al didn’t say much after that.
#### Hostage Base ####
Same time
“Is that white AS going to come?”
“Most certainly, sir.”
“Good…I’ll have that boys head, and his little girlfriends to.”
“I told you, I’m not his girlfriend! I’ve never seen that man before
in my life!”
“Shut up girl, I’m tired of hearing your voice!”
The man walked over and grabbed her by the hair, pulling her up
to his face.
“You think you can lie to us? It’s absurd for you to imply that we
would fail to capture our target!”
He let go of her hair, and she slumped to the floor, crying.
He turned to the window.
“I’m waiting for you, Arbalest.”
Well, I guess thats it for Part 1, I'm sorry, it is pretty short compared to alot of other people, due to trying to do it in class, and my teach is pretty adamant about watching the computer screens to see if anyones doing somthing, but I try to type when I can to pass the time. Also, it's pretty much my first fan fic, so I know it sucks, no biggy if you bash it, lol.
If anything, I was gonna get one of my Literature teachers to look over to see if it's at least done correctly, the writing portion of my graduation test is soon, so anything helps ya know.
I would like to continue it, but I basically only do it during class at school, so it would be a while, also note that I do like to change small errors every now and then, so I'll edit it some times, taking stuff out, or adding stuff in.
