Merida Base
Time Unknown
Date: Six hours after Operation L.A. Rush
“Lieutenant Iwamura, are you aware of your report of Operation L.A. Rush?” said Captain Tesstarossa.
I sat in a conference table with Captain Tesstarossa, Captain Santiago, Commander Mardukas and Lieutenant Commander Kalinin.
“Yes ma’am, I am aware of it.”
“You say after the SAR unit retreated from the building, approximately five minutes later, the building imploded because of C4 detonation?”
“Affirmative ma’am” I answered.
“Please explain why this measure was taken” asked Commander Mardukas.
“Sir, Operation L.A. Rush succeeded even though the mission objective was not there. The use of C4 detonation was taken to ensure that 1: All evidence of Mithril personnel were not there. 2: The bodyguard President explains they were just remodeling their building and 3: To make sure that the police did not see SOULS escaping by the helicopters located a block away from the building. They could see the building imploding but not the helicopters.”
Kalinin and Mardukas looked at me with interest but Captain Santiago held a poker face while Captain Tesstarossa was lost in thoughts.
“Madame Captain” said David “May I ask why I was not informed of this operation setup? Surely this mission could have been-
“That decision was made by the owner of building number 166078 Captain Santiago” said Captain Tesstarossa “He felt that if you knew what we were planning from the very start, you would only interfere with the planning. Besides, you did well to contain yourself from not killing Lieutenant Iwamura here.”
After rendezvousing with Sir Mallory and Kaname at McDonald, Kaname went with Souske while Sir Mallory took me in a private area and had me brief him of what happened. Things didn’t stop there because soon enough, the national news reported that the building we blew up caused mass hysteria everywhere. People thought another 9/11 happened.
Justin, Ji-eun, and the other members of the transportation unit left the mission region as plan. Justin called me two hours later that everyone was okay and ask to be involve more with future missions from now on.
While Captain Santiago was being carried to the helicopter by me, Zebra-1 explained Captain Santiago was explaining he had to extract a man at the eighteenth floor where the wire was at when David was rappelling. The pilot confirmed no man was there because he was near the building and wrote on his report that the Captain was either hallucinating or had too much stress because of the mission objective.
“Okay Captain Tesstarossa but a Mithril personnel was found working there” David said in anger “What happen to him?”
“That Captain, is a private matter that you cannot breach” said Commander Mardukas. “Although your status of a Captain is held by you, Intelligence called us explaining the matter has been taken care of.”
I saw David trying to hold himself back because he knew the man was Michelle’s boyfriend but what he didn’t know was that the man was alive at a hospital monitored by very few SOULS. Michelle is one of them.
“Lieutenant Iwamura, Operation L.A. Rush was timidly a dangerous mission and because it was a first mission” explained Captain Tesstarossa “The brass and I are happily acknowledging you as one of the best Intelligence personnel ever in Mithril history. We expect more from you as for Captain Santiago also.”
Those words were just overwhelming. Trying to hold back my excitement, I let out a little smile and nod to Captain Tesstarossa.
“Thank you Madame Captain” I said “Your words are too kind for me to compliment back at.”
Tessa blush a faint pink at me and she lets out a good smile that I will never forget.
“Gentlemen, we have a new mission for you” said Lieutenant Commander Kalinin.
David and I look at each other and we fidget in our seats.
“This mission will not commence for a week but I” faltered Tessa “The mission requires extensive care.”
“And that is…?” ask David.
“Your mission objective is to find a man who is extremely dangerous and well known in Mithril. We know he is in Amsterdam. We know who his bodyguards are and we do know everything that we need to know about him. The bad part to this is that he is…”

Two blocks away of 166078
1030 Hours
Looking at the wrecked building of 166078, I cringed at the thought of what happened in there. In a crouch stance with my binoculars on a roof two blocks away, bulldozers and men wearing construction clothes were cleaning up the debris.
Police men and the news people are checking out what made that building blow up like that last night by people they don’t know of. Smiling to myself of what the police are going to find in there, I thought of the young man who was in there that made that decision.
“Ryo…”

Project Night Fox
"Night Fox, what have you done that makes it so special from the others?" said a wounded Sergeant Sagara.
The unidentified individual grinned with a sweet smile.
"I guess you'll just have to wait and see, won't you, Mr. Sagara? Isn't that right, Helena?"
