I wonder how popular she is in Japan compared to other singers over there, I'm sure she got real popular through the Full Metal Panic! series.

I'd imagine the competition's pretty stiff. There are a lot of artists that sing for anime songs, and probably just as much that don't sing for anime but are still very popular. Japan's an idol factory. =)
