FullMetal*Panic!

This thread is for people who thinks Kaname likes Sousuke but abuses him too much.

I happen to be one of them, I still remember the good times.

Episode 2: First Attack! Attack form unknown.

Episode 3: Kaname whacks Sousuke with a metal bat after she sees Shinji and Sousuke outside of her apartment. Sousuke is holding her...um...panties.

Episode 7: The copy room incident. Kaname gives Sousuke a punch hard enough to send him a few yards down the hall. He starts standing up to her ("Kaname, that hurt.") but she ends up picking him up and shaking him.

Episode 8: The first appearance of Kaname's Halisen (paper fan).

Fumoffu Show 1: Sousuke gets struck by Kaname's fan after setting up explosives.

Fumoffu Show 2: Again with the fan and this time Sousuke gets thrown in front of a moving taxi and then into a taxi as well.

Fumoffu Show 4: The art war. Sousuke gets hits with a pot after taking an old lady as hostage and then gets tied up.

Fumoffu Show 6: The fan again and an attempt to stand up to Kaname again ("You know, That smarts.").

Any other moments or opinions?

I can't believe they had him say, "That smarts".

I thought it was good they made him say that. I think he should stand up to her whenever she pulls out that fan of hers.

Yeah, well, in the subs, he just said, "That hurts". I just can't imagine "That smarts" as being something Sousuke would say...

It's lol how she smacks him with the harisen, and he flips over, supported by one leg, and says calmly, "Chidori, that hurts."

Once in a while Sousuke knows what's coming; and can you stop yourself from sweating bullets if a raging female teenager is about to put you in a world of pain that you're all too familiar with?

No, probably not. I'd probably say "that hurt" more often though.

Take it from me, after the first few times of getting smacked around by a raging teenaged girl you just sit back and take it, you know it's coming and you grow to accept it, thats just how it goes.

There are some girls out there that display their affection by physical means; quite the opposite from fawning and draping all over her man - but instead playfully hitting him as a means of physical contact of some kind.

Now, while Sousuke is at a distinct disadvantage in his situation - because Kaname is an excellent athlete and is used to taking care of herself, I hightly doubt that this type of "abuse" is something he can't handle. Due to his military training, I would be surprised if it did hurt all that much. And I don't agree with Kaname being so... passionate in her physical nature - but that is what makes her less likely to be a Whispered victim as well.

Additionally, Sousuke doesn't exactly play an innocent role here. He is quite clumsy, absent minded in the civilian world matters, and takes his job entirely too serious. While Kaname is one extreme, Sousuke is the other. They compliment one another other rather nicely.
