Animeondvd has an advance review on the front page if you wanna go read about the R1 release
The audience applauded, even though it was not clear what Bush meant.

On a good day, a Tomahawk can fly into the door of a two-car garage at the distance of several hundred miles. And that can ruin your whole day.

quick question: when a company licenses a series, do they automatically license any following seasons of the anime?

The anti-priacy warnings- alot of anime DVDs have em at the end of the DVD- usualy (that I've seen) just a short sequence of clips from the DVD eps while one of the characters blathers on about not copying...
Deckard- I don't think they do.
ADV doesn't automatically have the rights to the second season just from having the first.
If ADV knew the 2nd season was in the works when they negoitated the first one, perhaps they could have gotten an option on it. An option would be that they are first in line to get the second season, if they chose. (it might be that it could be 'reserved' for them, for a small price, I'm not sure exactly how 'option' works)
Without an option, perhaps ADV might be able to snag it easy if they want, anyhow, since they've already established a favorable business relationship with whoever is working with the first season (assuming that it's the same people)
But, for all we know, they already have it, (or are working on it), I would only say that just from seeing studios pick up stuff that isn't finished (or even beginning) airing yet. I would never have wondered that last year....
But seperate seasons are usually seperate lisences, I believe.

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."
