i've been trying to find out more about lenard (tessa's bro) and read at this site that he's taken a liking to kaname and that he was kaname's first kiss! the site also mentioned amalgram, and that him and gaul is part of it...i think this site's main thing is fanfiction but under the intro section, there's a little brief description about lenard:

But until we know more about what acutally makes a whispered, its really hard to guess.
(although theories can be fun)
We don't even know if Whispered is a natural phenomenon (like evolved), or manmade (either accidental or intentional)
