I loved this episode!!!! It was so crazy! :-P Gates is muy loco! The rooftop scene at the end was hilarious! :D I noticed that Kaname doesn't use her paper fan anymore. Well I guess with this more violent world we live in hitting someone with a fan just doesn't cut it anymore. Gotta slam them with a chair or door. Poor Sousuke..
I don't have any regrets. I'm glad I met you Sousuke Sagara.

How would you translate Ep2's title? "Sui mei ka no jou ke" is that romanji spelled right? Would you translate it as:
"Scene Beneath the Water's Surface"
or something less literal like, "Underwater Condition" ?
Hm?

Help me decide on a translation (and correct my romanji if it's wrong) and I'll put that in ANN's TSR's episode list. Which is what I'm planning to do for every episode.

Just finished watching the sub. [ecs]Wraith [/ecs] does exsist! Kalinin hands Tessa a report from [ecs]Sousuke about Wraith. [/ecs] It seems that Sousuke knows about him. I can't wait to see how this season is going to play out! :-D

well TSR is looking pretty good so far the animation is very good , i dont put to much attention to the details (dont look frame by frame :/ )but so far there has not been a part in where i could clearly see a sudden drop of quality in the animation as it could clearly be seen in for example EP20 of the original fmp which realy was below average in some parts :) (though still one of my favorite), and as mentioned before by pretty much everyone else , the songs used on the OP and ED are below averager or rather they dont fit in(the songs might actually be good).

I have read the novels but i cant quite remember this parts which are now being animated , if someone does plz enlight me (and by the way i only read the novel released by boku-tachi so it might have been on a previous novel):), normaly i dont like when they change the story from the original or when they just animate stuff that where not in the original manga/novel since they normaly don't keep the same quality from the original, but it does not seem to be the case here.

Yep I'm wondering about that...too
Maybe the translator got something wrong. :?
Sousuke doesn't know about him (in the novel... or does he???) but the other one does know about Sousuke...hmm....

Well, Sousuke & Wraith did communicate in ODBD when Sousuke was about ready to spill the beans regarding his Mithril life. So yeah, Sousuke is sorta familiar with Wraith.

I was bored so I watched the sub again. This is just my assumption but, I think I know who the twins are refering to when they say "sensei". It has to be[ecs] Guaron. In the part where we first see the twins, there's a bunch of monitors and you can kinda see brown hair familiar to Guaron's on the lower right corner of the screen. Looks like they're trying to revive him. And also when Gates told them that their sensei was fed to the fishes, maybe it was when Guaron and his AS exploded in the ocean in ep 24? [/ecs] It has to be him. Then again, I don't remember the novels very well. But does anybody agree with me? ;)

gomen, my fault ^^; i meant, sousuke doesnt't know about Wraith in the beginning of TSR, doesn't he? So it was in the novel. He did not know him from the start.
But how then, could he write a report about someone he even doent know ... that's not logically.

Because when Kaname said, that there was a person spying in her apartment that morning, Sousuke also reacted surprised...

@moongurl: I definitely agree with you.

Yeah, Sensei is Gauron. I figure that's a given though. The guy watching from the rooftops is probably Wraith.

Weird episode. Those girls are creepy. At least they're not the cute and fluffy ones from the manga.

Gates is totally nuts. But at least it makes things interesting.

I'm not sure what to think about the whole hidden camera thing. It wasn't funny, romantic, exciting, dramatic or intelligent, yet it was still entertaining for some reason. I did love one part though:

Sousuke: "Okay, I'll shoot him."

Kaname: "Oaky, do it! No wait, no!"

It's kinda nice to see that it's so different from the novel. I guess at some point it'll have to cross over though. The previews had a lot of similar scenes.

Guess I've been spoiled by Fumoffu and recent novels though. Here we are in the second episode and still no S/K fluff. :p

The twins

On watching this episode I kinda felt sorry for the twin sisters, they seem to project this very lonely quality, like they really only have each other. Did anybody else feel that way?

Of course. They're orphans who were taken in by a mercanary. In a sense, they're not so different from Sousuke.

Okay, I guess I'll be the only one to say that I really didn't like the fanservice and thought it was pretty ridiculous, but that's okay ^_^

The singing dude reminded me a lot of Willem Dafoe's character in Boondock Saints, what with the classical music and the carnage.

My favorite part is definitely when Sousuke wanted to chop off that dork's fingers. Ah, gotta love Sousuke. I will agree with whoever said that it didn't seem quite right, mixing the fumoffu moments with the rather disturbing scenes, it just seemed off.

Oh! I also really liked the animation in this episode, especially that brief few seconds of hand-to-hand fighting between one of the sisters and some random soldiers. It looked really well done to me... but then I'm not very knowledgeable.

I have mixed feelings about this ep. It's darker than the last 2 seasons.

The twins are interesting - but they seem a bit TOO close. (the "catch the phone" was cool). I wonder (assuming this follows the novels) if they will be more interesting with a lambda driver. I'm anxious to see them work together more in battle.

Though it was semi gratifying to see one of the bad guys toasted. I just wish the insane guy (name?) had 2 brain cells worth of common sense, but alas he's in the negative numbers in that department...

I did like the confrontation of the perv with the pics...

hmm seemed like i got the who's evil part... but wonder about the assasin sisters... will they turn out good?? or both will get toasted by sousuke... coz evil they may seem to be but they are totally hot... wanna see more of them in the future...

gates on the other hand is a char i would like to see lesser of... he is irritating and has a iq level of maybe 5??? damn him..... at least now it would be nice to see gauron wake up and kick his A**(though gauron is as lunnie he doesn't sing stupid songs and do stupid things)......

who else is there?? ah yes the infamous leonard... hmm i wonder what evil is he planning.... he seems to be the mastermind of all evil in this series... :?
Nature call??? It's at the back...
