Translation Mistake...

Post by Fullmetaljin »

For those of you who have seen book 12, there is a translation mistake:

[ecs]The boat's name is NOT the "Pacific Christmas". It is the "Pacific Chrysalis". You will understand this if you read over Gaolun's hint, "Badame". "Badame" is Persian for "chrysalis". [/ecs]

Ha! I remember asking Brandi what "pupa" had to do with anything and how it led them to the ship. There was a theory on it, but I found it less than convincing. This makes a little more sense.

I was wondering about that also. There wasn't any explanation of "Badame" to the "Pacific Christmas." I always thought that with the hint of Badame, it somehow mysteriously led to the Pacific Christmas, but now I know. See, those who actually get to read the novels are way ahead of us grunts. If only I could understand Japanese...

Is it just me, or are there way too many talking decapitated heads around these days?

Well, I'll be damned...I did screw that up, didn't I? I went back and looked at it, and the whole time I was thinking it was "kurisumasu" instead of "kurisurisu"...they shouldn't have kept switching them up like that in the book ^^;; I'll make a note of it next time. Thanks!

And the big secret is out in the open... or not. It wasn't much of a secret to begin with. 8)
