I've been wondering if Brandi would ever make an appearance in this conversation what with her being on this forum and all ^_^; Thanks so much for finally putting all the speculation to rest. I think I speak for (most) everyone in the fandom when I say this:
You're freakin' awesome and we love you! Hooray for a new section in the next few weeks!!

That said, I'd love anyone to death who translates any more of the short stories or previous novels. Sadly, I can't read Japanese, but I'd be willing to help anyone who feels like taking on the project. I'm a pretty good editor and I have a reasonable amount of free time now that I'm out of school.

Oh, and this is my first post. Hajimemashite! Some of you know me from tdd-1 (mizu_no_cagalli). Glad to finally be here.

You can't deny the fact you have a fair share of FMP glompers throwing rose pedals in front or after? every step you take. It's your effort and dedication that made you (unintentionally? of importance to the fans) *snickers*

Yet the biggest questions remains unanswered. Would you feel a gripe towards "someone" who 'dares' to simul. translate "something" <grin>
This seems to be an issue to the only other translator who is willing to do some of the work. (and admires you for the work you have done.)
Lets face it this whole thead has become all about your toes that might or might not being stepped on. :)

@Moonshadow

Welcome to the nuthouse .. :)

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

As always, don't let raving fans demanding faster releases phase you. Let's face it, those who actually slow down and think about all the things you must go through in order to put out translations wouldn't be shouting for faster releases, now would they? I know about family deaths, and with your year going haywire, I myself won't mind if the next release was going to come up a year later. I hope we're not putting any pressure on you to hurry up on your translations, thus destroying other time you could be spending on to do other things that you find more enjoyable.

*sees COMO 2a*

We're not worthy either... :-D

Seriously, it's a great job you've been doing, and we're not ungrateful. We also understand that RL must always take precedence... so take your time. Still, not to disparage your work or anything, but it couldn't hurt to take a willing volunteer as an understudy, right? *looks kirstian's way*

Yeah, I checked out chap2a myself and offer my humble thanks to Brandi as well... I admit I underestimated her determination to see things through and the general popularity of the translated novels (which is the biggest motivational factor afterall). It seems I learned something new here afterall :D
