i discovered this anime last week on thanksgiving break and finished it (3 season +OVA) and ive been feeling emotionally weak about the fact that the story is still unifinshed, i did a little research and found this site, did a little research on this site and i've come to the conclusion that currently the last novel is being written. i couldn't find out where i can buy these novels in english and if/when the season will come out? any help is appreciated, thanks

Only four of the novels (which the anime covered already) have been turned into English. there are some fan translations of the next 2.5 novels floating around online, if you want them so badly.

As you look around the forum some more you'll see there's a metaphorical "drought" of sorts; this is because it's been three years since the last anime was made and we are all "dying of thirst."

ok thanks alot, but anyone have any safe guesses on when they will release the next anime season? i hear it's after they finish up the novels which i hear is end of this year.

As far as I know there is no way to tell when the next anime will come, but since KyoAni (the studio that makes FMP) has a bunch of other, more popular projects (I think there's 3 candidates for 2009), I dont think another FMP will be made until late 2009 at earliest.

since there hasn't been any new announcements, my only reason for living is the hope that they will consider making another series after the final novel is finished which i hear is rumored to be spring of 2009. until then is there anything we can do to improve the chances of making another season a possibliity? (animation studio email, petition etc.) sell an arm or two?
