Mao's pretty hardcore. She may have been losing that battle, but I was surprised to see just how well she could move. I wonder how well Sousuke would have done against that girl in close combat.
Anyway, it looks like it's finally catching up to the novels. But I think they're skipping the part where Sousuke takes apart the teacher's car. I guess it's not that big a loss, but I'd like to see some more of Kaname. In every season of the series, we haven't gone entire episodes without Kaname. I guess they're establishing Sousuke as the main protagonist of this story.

As the series dwells deeper into the plot of the novels we will probably see entire episodes devoted to Kaname. I'd like to be more specific but I'm yet to master the spoiler tags.

Sure, Mao was on the defence but I wonder what she could do if she too would have gotten two machetes. Gawd excelent action sequence.
Does anyone else feel that the Savages have a slight resemblance of Tateo. <grin>

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

Action, action and MORE action!!! What more can you ask for?!?!?!
...More action of course...
The twins show their not all talk and can dish it out like the best Mithril has
to offer. Had me wondering if our fave SRT wasn't on the ropes before
the ep even started.
Gate's preplanted explosives kinda unnerved me... i don't know how good
he is, but you can't tell me things were set up THAT good... or he just
believes there's no such thing as overkill Personally, I think Gates
stole the whole ep with his whacky, almost playful demeanor. To him,
the whole thing was a game to capture the Arbalest... disrupting the peace
talks was a sideshow. I'm not saying Gates has managed to fill Gualun's
evil role from the 1st FMP!, but he's definately making his mark on things
Another technical / storyline nitpick is Gates' group's ability to eavesdrop on Urz's
comm links. It was already shown Bluno wasn't close enough to know
about the Cretan injoke, yet he had detailed info about Mithril's
deployments, codenames, droppoints, etc. Just the GunBunny in me,
but you'd think Mithril, and by extension Tessa, knows a thing or two
about compartmentalization of Operational Information, etc.
Anycase, LOVED the ride as usual! Keep it up TSR!!
...bet I know who's getting some tonight
Regards

She hasn't particullarly acted like anythings happened between them. Almost feels like everything got reset. I mean you'd think they'd be a little different like how season 1 ended. Besides her introduction into the series the majority of the time she's been nothing but comedic value. Sousuke has been getting great development when Kaname seems to only be a mean, selfish, horrible little woman. I haven't read ODBD in a short while but I don't remember her hitting Sagara that much and yelling almost all the time. Honestly this is why I wish they had started like the novels did. Atleast Kaname didn't have that nasty intro and seem to only be a bi**h when she was around. I feel like the Anime is killing her character.

I don't know about killing her character... it's just another part of her existing character. Granted, they haven't explored the kinder or even more romantic side of Kaname in regards to Sousuke yet, but I'd give it time.
Kaname doesn't normally hit him that much, be he normally isn't that big of a problem for her. Trying to find a stalker who was taking pictures of her kinda messed up the balance.
Anyway, is there an OST out yet? What's the name of the opening and closing themes?

Actually, I'd have to agree with Reaper on that point. What little of Kaname we've seen so far has been pretty negative... and the producers had better follow up with her good side in later episodes if they want to maintain some balance. (And for what it's worth, if they leave in her "Why don't you choke on that apple and die?" line from the Sigma manga, it'll be the last straw for me.)
