and BOMF dident make me feel like I was getting exceptionaly close to a happy ending either haha ( closer but nothing close to impending feelings of happiness)
the reason i suggested a love hina ending is cause let's face it......akamatsu can't exactly carry it on now...the story is "wrapped up". if either sousuke or kaname died i would be very very angry and upset, i really wanna see these 2 characters happy together. main characters will die.... i really think tessa might snuff it, but she connfesses her love for sousuke before she does. a love hina would be the happiest ending.
I just want to see Souske and Kaname kiss..then I would be happy with whatever ending. Just to see one small kiss..and no matter how many times have been perfect in the series it never happens.*cries* It got my hopes up and then *boom* there they go.
I expect Gatou to make the ending completely ironic, something no one would ever come up with. He has his ways with FMP, making things appear, disappear, and reappear, and always catching and holding onto the audiences' attention throughout. It has to be something good... No, better than good. Something completely out of the box and totally unexpected.
But alas, I'm no Gatou, so I shall share my simple thoughts on what I think may happen (THE FOLLOWING HAS SOME SPOILERS FROM THE NOVELS, SO KEEP IN MIND WHILE READING--NONE HAS BEEN CENSORED):
A) Kaname and Sousuke eventually kiss, but at a later time in the novel. Putting it in too early would have too much of a strong romantic feel going on. "Oh Sousuke" "Oh Kaname I shall rescue you..." *coughs* Anyway...
B) Leonard eventually dies, but probably not by the hands of Sousuke. Could almost be like Gauron's first true "death", where he nearly kills himself and isn't taken out "in one blow [like how] a mythical hero [would do]".
C) New characters are introduced, but lives are lost and torn apart.
D) Tessa just may die, and Sousuke ends up taking orders from, say, Mardukas...
E) Sousuke leaves Mithril, and goes off with Kaname, running away from the world to some place else... such as his "homegrounds" in Halmajistan(sp).
F) Kaname ditches Sousuke for another guy, just because she can't stand "being alone" when Sousuke is always out in his missions (an affair, oh noez!).
G) Gauron... LIVESSS......
H) Sousuke falls for Tessa instead, and ditches Kaname (twist!).
I) Sousuke dies, leaving Kaname to fend for herself... after a confession of feelings towards one another.
J) Sousuke and Kaname die, leaving us in ruins.
K) Kaname and Tessa die, tearing apart Sousuke so much that he vows never to fall for another woman again (let alone befriend anyone).
L) Leonard somehow manipulates Kaname so that she falls for him and ditches Sousuke, who tries his hardest to bring Kaname to loving him again (after killing off Leo) but to no avail.
M) The lost souls of dead Whispered gather, and they help Sousuke defeat Leonard (later in the story) and his new AS.
N) Good chance Sousuke will fight a horde of those new ASes, while using a new protype created by Mithril.
O) Kalinin is in fact alive, and is undercover with another secret agency as they create the ultimate killing machine AS to replace the mighty fallen Arbalest.
P) Sousuke manages to steal Leonard's AS, destroy Leo's HQ, and leave him for dead as he takes Kaname away.
Q) Sousuke "pulls a Gauron" by having an AS in self-destruct mode to take out both himself and Leonard, and possibly the whole of Amalgam(sp).
That's it from me. Just some thoughts.
