I remember reading somewhere that in either the manga or the novels that the last volumes where Sousuke has to make a choice. Something about since only he can pilot the Arbalest, Mithril people think he's value is being wasted as Kaname's protector. Is that right? So does he leave Mithril and stays with Kaname? Or do they just fix the lamda drive problem? Or do they kill him for knowing too much .

A lot of people keep asking questions about Fumoffu as if it were subsequent to the first season.
Maybe some of the episodes are...are they (for anyone who has novels and manga)...or are they just spread throughout the SAME timeline as the first season? Some of Fumoffu seems to occur before the end of season one events, given the photos from novels shown on this site.

The manga is not very far into the story yet. Everything circle is asking about is in the novels.
THat said...F is based on short stories, which were published in collected novel volumes, published usually alternating with the other novels. (which is why in the novels gallery they alternate).
BUT those short stories are not in a rigid timeline like the full length novels are.
So, it's not clear from the novels exactly where most of those F episodes fit in.
The manga is blending both full and short stories, so as it is published we should see some order to those various eps, although the manga is not fully consistent with either the novels or the anime. But it's damn as close as we're gonna get, really.
About those spoilers...there are some threads at the bottom of this forum talking about stuff from the novels. Or do a search for posts by ruri.
In summary Big Ass Spoilers for Way Past the Anime:
yes, Sousuke's being 'wasted' in Tokyo- he's sent away- Tessa tries taking advantage of the situation, and pulls out all stops, S was allowed to believe K had died, as per T's plan- he ditches Mithril after he learns of the nasty things Tessa was doing in order to keep him around (an extreme abuse of authority)- he goes to Tokyo and ends up renegoitating his contract with Mithril to allow him to be with Kaname (not dead).
Short and simple- S's choice is clear, but don't strain your ears listening for wedding bells yet.

ahhh there's now the manga which is based on a different story line??? if it is...i got to get updated with FmP! a lot more. So when does this happen during the story line?
