Well I suppose that would be neat title for a "still" unconfirmed Season 3

Anyway I saw some info about Whispered also being able to "merge" their personalities. (If you have seen the Search for Spock, you know the deal)

It would of course make it possible for a really devious and twisted ending that makes both Tessa and Kaname camps squeal.. <g>

So does anyone have some info about the personallity merging part ??

All good things come to an end... How do you think the end looks like ? assuming there will be an season 3

The "merging" is talked about in season one. It's considered a very bad thing since it can't be undone.

anybody who has watched the first season should hav an idea about what that "merging personalities" thing means...

as for the title "Final Raid" after the "Second Raid" for this season......... doesn't that sound a bit lame? lol

Guess I have to watch S1 again.. It kinda slipped my mind. <grin>
I looked at it more in terms of communication not tranfer of personality.

What was so bad about it? (didn't Tessa ....??, ... I vaguely recall the will become a plant idea.... then again could be I mixed it up with some other anime.

But still Tessa with the body of Kaname or vice versa would make it a lot easier for Sousuke to take a pick..... or would it ...

edit: changed my 1st post in an attempt to let it make more sense..

That happens and Gatoh gets hate mail from me. Unless Tessa and Leonard end up in the same body. That would be okay.

Are you talking about if Whispereds do too much Resonance with each other? I think the thing with the merging in that case is something like wrecking the minds or something, it's just my guess since Tessa said it was something bad.

The thing is, it seemed that Tessa didn't really know what happens either, beside that it might be bad. IIRC she used milk and coffee to demonstrate how you might not be able to separate the two if the communication went awry or something.

I don't like "TFR" for a final title either, but the title doesn't really matter, the content does ^_^.

If there's a 3rd (I guess it ought to be 4th, technically) season though, I hope it's 24 episodes...

No, that would not be okay. Tessa's body with her brother's personality would not be remotely ok.

Hmmm, the merging could be like how Dax described the joining of the Trill host and symbiont in Star Trek Deep Space Nine. They influence eachother personality wise. In an episode they proved the brain waves can be separated into the symbiont's and the hosts, IIRC.

I agree that the next season should be somewhere with 24 episodes, they pretty much have the material. What I really want in the next Full Metal Panic! series is a series like the first one, 20 something episodes, action artfully blended with comedy. That's what I'm hoping for.

I wonder, because if Sousuke promised to get Kaname back, and gets her back, they can still enjoy some school life... tho I would _hope_ things changed, but...

They can fit some of the comedy side stories they never used, and the upcoming new ones and fit it in the questioned series somehow...
