also, captain matthew said "just like that other passenger" does that mean he already picked up momo and ziggy? or is he carrying some kind of cargo i just havent reached in the game? i thnik theyre gonna skip the momo / ziggy rescue battle...

FINALLY finished the ingame scenes, and while certain parts of the puzzle
are complete, others remain to be filled in... AFAIK XenoGEARS is
the sequel to Xenosaga? Any more to the Xeno-whatever 'saga'?

As for the anime, they're REALLY compressing things down... Ziggy's
rescue of MOMO was reduced to a quickie flashback, and Junior's
backstory of investigating the Woglinde wreck was completely cut out (to be expected). Least they kept KOS-MOS' all-important line: "Shion... if I feel
pain, will I be complete?"

// hands a certain unnamed baord member a box of kleenex

In any case, I'm still finding this series enjoyable!

Finally caught up to #6... not much different than what was shown in the
ingame cutscenes. The bar scene where Allen found his soulmate at the
bottom of a mug of beer was rather... creepy

Next time... encephilon dive time!

#8 Jin (Shion's older brother) gets a brief cameo in the opening... some
mention of a connection with Chaos in the past. Nephilem appears and
does her explanation routine to our group -- least the connection between
Junior, Gaignan & Albedo's explained, that wasn't made clear in the
cutscenes of the 1st game. Virgil TRIES to make himself useful against
an interfereing UTIC agent.... won't spoil what happens next. You'll have
to watch yourself

Next time: Albedo, that whack job, crashes the party and invites the
Gnosis in on the fun...

Oh... btw, chaos' and Jin's connection to eachother is

SPOILER!!!!

They met each other in the Miltian Conflict 14 years ago. Jin helps chaos and another peson, Canaan, for a little while on Miltia. chaos was sent in on a rescue mission to retrieve the URTVs or something like that. Jin ws in search of the Y-data and also seems to have a connection with U-TIC because Margulus was quite familiar with Jin during their physical exchange.

Nearly caught up with the TV series... yeah, Albedo's a whack job... nevermind
the whole vibe of him wanting to ALWAYS remain with Rubedo. Kinda
sad the great char interaction's been dropped to fit the 12eps, but... any
case, a chance to hear the original JPN voices is GREAT!! KOSMOS' JPN
voice does a topnotch job of coming across as this unfeeling, logical droid.

Sidenote: finished watching Xenosaga2 cutscenes

Some
secrets should remain secrets.... *shudders* Oh yeah... Jr & MOMO for
couple of the year!!

Rest in peace, now that you have found your will...
So much emotional stuff that basically got rushed into less than 20mins
of time... and I'm still kinda disappointed they didn't put in that piece of
music they originally had in the cutscene

Last couple scenes looks like they're setting themselves up for Xeno2: The Animation...

Oh yeah, for those who d/l'd and watched the Apr 1st Extra THE JOKE'S ON YOU!!!!
