Anyone else watching this?
Everyone thinks this is a love-hina repeat when watching this, but in fact it is a bit more of a drama/romance (ok maybe not so much drama, also slight comedy). I'd have to say it is my second favorite this season (next to FMP:TSR of course).
It's basically about this guy who falls in love with a girl when he sees her doing the high-jump and moves in next to her. It's about their relationship and how it changes over time. Currently (at the time of writing) episode 12 just came out.
The only one translating the manga is animewaves and they are still stuck on chapter 0.
The series will be 26 episodes long.

Suzuka
Yeah at first reading the description of the anime and manga it sounded like a mega harem anime following in the footsteps of Love Hina.
However I quite like the pace of the story and it seems to be slightly more dramatic/romantic etc. and I like it quite a bit.
Yeah pity on the manga only being at chapter 00 but the anime seems to run with it very closely so alls good

Suzuka is pretty popular on the animesuki forums, lots of activity going on in that thread I tell ya.
Not many actual Suzuka (character) supporters on that forum though (not like I am either). Episode 13 was probably the best thing to happen in the series. I'm rooting for Honoka all the way. Miki is also great, but we don't see all that much of her.
Suzuka (the character) can go on moping in her little room about her dead boyfriend-to-be for all I care.

i've "read ahead" and so i know where the anime is going, and i really enjoyed episode 16, although they did take out a fair amount of important scenes in the anime...

in the manga, what i heard was that yamato was given a condom by hattori... and when yamato & honoka are on the bed, yamato gropes one of honoka's breasts; it looks a little weird in the anime (if you know this) because it looks like honoka runs away after being kissed by yamato (granted he DOES look freaky but...)

I've also really enjoyed Suzuka, though the sports part of it is pretty neglected. Yeah, some pretty huge differences between EP 16 and what happened in the manga, until I had checked out the animesuki boards, certain parts of 16 made no sense. Also, Miki looks way better in the Manga, to paraphrase some mad fanboys.
i finally noticed the "bad" drawing that everyone always talks about, heh.
overall epi 17 was pretty good; it was sorta a wake up call for yamato... not really sure how he reacted (even tho i know what WILL happen) i don't know what went through his mind when nana had that talk with him
next episode will be good
