Wow. This anime gave me a right shock when I saw it, I wasn't expecting much but it really was something. Shame about the ending though! Haha such a perverted guy, I have no idea how he always avoided and got out of trouble. It would be good if there were actually teachers like him.

I'm watching it right know. ep #7. the series has a real nice oldskool touch to it. considering the year of production it is kind of strange to have a successful manga such "bad" animation.
comparing cowboy bebop (1998) and gto (1999-2000)...lightyears of quality

IMO. this is just my personal opinion. I don't dig Gto's animation-style.
but the series is fun

It's been a while since I saw GTO but it has it's brilliant moments.
I still have to read the manga... but I have picked up GTO the early years and it's hilarious.

I think Bebop had a little more budget than GTO.

Well, if they wanted it to keep the manga feel, then no need to have fancy production value of a sci fi action series.
