Harpoon's radar seeker, like most other ASMs, goes for the centroid of
mass; AFAIK there is no way to 'guide' it to a specific point on a target.
And given it's warhead is optimised for today's lighter armoring standards
isn't likely to do much.

You want surefire... try a SS-N-22 Sunburn, 1000kgs of shaped-charge HE :-D

About the only surefire way the Aegis has a chance is a spread of Mk 46/50s
aimed at the rudder / screw area IMO.

Finally got around to watching this, just watched ep1 and 2 and I want more!!!

How much can just one high tech missile cruiser do in WW2? They would need food, fuel, and ammo to carry out any campaign. If they reveal their presence to both sides of the war, would any side believe what they say? If Japan is told that they're going to lose the war, millions will die, and thousands will be vaporized by 2 atomic bombs; would Japan stop fighting?

Kinda old news but Deph had to put Zipang on hold because they need a translator. DOH! :cry:

Recently ep20 aired. I didn't know this is a regular-length series. I might have to settle for crappy alternatives if ep3 English subs aren't out by the time this series end. :(

Saw a batch torrent for ep1-26 raw. Doesn't look like anyone will be translating this anymore. Don't think I'll bother with the raw cuz I'll be over my head with the military techno babble in Japanese.
