Been to S-C's irc chan: Madlax Licenced, torrents pulled

Ayu: pulled their other licenced torrents, so that's probably what they'll do in this case

ANBU-Lunar: forum posting confirming the licence. Most likely will pull....

There aren't words dirty enough to express my EXTREME frustration at this!!!

...well, here's hoping ADV'll use some of Reticia's best quotes for the taglines
on the boxes...

FINALLY some answers!! Margert does the whole 'Oh my god,
I killed her' routine for Elinor -- handled beautifully IMO. Then Fliday
butts in and ruins everything... Margeret goes berserk and kills Madlax.
Wait, that CAN'T happen right? She's the main char, I mean...

Rimelda and Nahal left on the sidelines as they 'don't have the talent
to follow, only to watch.'

Recap of how Poupee and Margeret met on the flight, and on the ground
Col. Burton (aka Madlax) was trying to stop Fliday from unleashing his
'ideal world.' In the subsequent reunion of father and daughter, Fliday unleashes
the power of Elda Taluda on Col Burton, which reveals his true nature:
his desire to kill his daughter. Poupee puts himself in the line of fire
and dies -- later to become Carousser Dawn, but Burton still keeps coming.
Her desire to survive battling her love for her father, Margeret splits into
two ppl: Margeret (her 'false' self) and Madlax (her desire to survive).
Reticia (her doll) becomes locked inside this sealed world and basically
holds the truth of what happened in that moment in time.

Fliday presents Margeret with a choice to realize his ideal world: where
everyone acts on their true natures. All over Gazthsonika, mass chaos
and killings occur as Elda Taluda's power's unleashed.

cue Madlax action music AAAAAAAAAAnd....!!

SHE BACK! White dress and all to stop Fliday from realizing his dream --
the purpose of Madlax in the first place as a gunshot rings out at the ep's
closing.

Next time.... IF there's a next time, looks like Margeret's
gonna put on that white dress and red shoes and kick some a$$!!!!

...Meh, I've said enough... other than I LOVED THE RIDE WHILE IT LASTED!!!!

i must agree ... on the Elinor part ... almost as good as the scene where Julia (CB) got shot ....

his true nature: his desire to kill his daughter.

I don't think that's it .... it's more unleashing the "true nature" of humans in general.

When shit hit the fan .. everyone was shooting everyone ... i think she was just close enough to be target #1

UPDATE: Ayu's torrents pages lists Madlax in the LICENCED pile, Lunar
still has it's Madlax torrents active.... for now

Meantime, RAW #26 out!! For while it's active.... ummm, there's QUITE a bit of
talking in Madlax which you have to understand to actually get what's going
on....

UPDATE: Lunar torrents deactivated...

Caught the RAW... D**N!! They call THAT!!! and ending?!?!

Action, shooting, Fliday's DEAD!!!!, Margeret prancing around in that skimpy
white dress and red shoes kicking some MAJOR butt!!....

From what I understand: Margeret finally realizes her actions, and the
revelations of who Madlax and Reticia is. Fliday still trying to push Margeret
his way -- strangely enough, his right eye's STILL intact after getting shot
away, what... three, four times now?

Margeret hestitant to step back to reality and what she did in her youth.

Resolution of the sin? of the past... VERY touching

Very eerie!

[skip a bunch of yammering]

Stand off between Margeret & Fliday

[skip more yammering]

Margeret takes up the Madlax pose and pulls a bunch of Matrix-like bullet
dodging moves...

Fliday back in his headquarters...

...and the REAL Madlax breaks in [YES!!!!] Fliday probably wonders
why Madlax hasn't disappeared with Margeret's (re)merging with her split
selves in the ideal world...

...but like it matters as Madlax wipes the floor with a bunch of troops
guarding Fliday. Byebye goes Enfan's headquarters... as well as Fliday

...Kunajitta's closing scene

...Margeret meets up with the spirits? of Vanessa, Elinor & Carousser

Finds Madlax at the bottom of that valley she dropped her in a couple
eps back. Goes off with Reticia, who's now in permanent? human form?

Kuanjitta.... dead??

Madlax & Rimelda do the Thelma and Louise thing....

...as SSS calls up Madlax. And blah blah blah....

Now WTF?! just happened? I think I missed alot in not getting the
dialogue, but I HOPE some explanations are forthcoming... even if I have
to wait for the final volume of the DVD in about a year's time.

As Tau said, seems when everyone's purpose gets fulfilled, they die...
so what the heck's up with Madlax -- Margeret's other self -- and Reticia
-- who's a friggin' doll anyways??

... I eagerly await the DVDs!!

Just... touching... ending. Maybe alittle TOO neatly wrapped up, but nicely done.
Dunno if a Madlax2 could be done. What, the adventures of M&R cavorting
in the underworld of Gazth-sonika?

ADV's trailer section lists one for Madlax... YAY!!!! And info sources
state the 1st Vol of Madlax should be coming out in April or so. September
the licence was announced... hmm

Chrno Crusade was a fairly recent title and ADV (so far) has 4 eps per disk.
We'll see... just HOPING that Reticia's best lines'll be used for taglines on
the box

Interesting question: Madlax v. Henrietta (GSG)

AnimeInsider had that as their latest vs. instalment.... thankfully it ended
in a draw. Crazed fans in BOTH camps would've overrun their offices in
rage if it ended decisively
