No official links or announcements of any kind? If some people at a Dutch anime board we can't even see say it's true, it must be so!

After all, there's no such thing as false rumors! Pfft!

If i had concrete evidence or links it wouldn't be a rumor or a buzz now would it? did i say it was true ?

I'm posting new stuff to keep this part of the forum lively and active and some do seem to appreciate it. guess some do not

I saw someone post scans of a recent magazine article relating to O!MG in some respect or other on an imageboard. If they're still there and I can find them when I get home I'll upload them. They're in Japanese though, so if there's anyone around who can read them that'll be the only way to tell what they say.

Okay, found them. I resaved them and removed some of the image quality, but for anyone who can read them the text should still be readable.

New Ah! My Goddess Anime Series in Japan
Closely Based on the Manga

The Anime News Network is reporting that the new Ah! My Goddess anime series slated to air later this year in Japan takes place after the action in the Ah! My Goddess OVA series and will follow the storyline from the original Ah! My Goddess manga series created by Kosuke Fujishima (published in the U.S. by Dark Horse as Oh! My Goddess). According to reports from Japan, Fujishima himself is heavily involved in the production of the series, and director Hiroaki Ghoda wants to animate the entire 15-year manga series, if the project continues to be popular.

Given the ever-shrinking window between when anime series appear on Japanese TV and when they arrive in the U.S., we could well see an American release of the anime series in 2005. If that does turn out to be the case, it would provide an extra impetus to Dark Horse's Oh! My Goddess manga, as well as provide a market for posters, statues and action figures tied to Fujishima's popular manga series.

followed it, but...

Out before 2005... I hope that doesn't include pre-release licencing, but somehow...
