I thought about this topic for an other forum once... here's how I created my male anime harem...
- Hazama from 8 Man After (my first anime "flame") why - loner, tough guy with a gun (why do I have a thing for guys with guns? I don't know...)
- Sousuke from FMP Why - sweetest most loyal guy you'll find - he's just misunderstood - and yes he has guns!!!
- Shigure from Furuba Why - cute as all get out and a little ecchi (wouldn't be be great with holding a bazooka?)
- Yuuki from E's Otherwise Why? love that red hair (wow) and yet another guy with a gun!
There were manga characters in the list too - but I just included the anime ones here.

Gah! I am the only one that recognizes the uber-kawaii-ness of Yumi (:love:), or has nobody here seen Chobits?!?!?!?!?

Yea, Yumi is cute... Chobits... meh at least she's human :p. The only Robogirl-love anime I like is Saber Marionette. I can't imagine loving something like a wife/soul mate when the robot automatically clings to you as it's programmed. Saber Marionette (especially J to X) is different. Sure the 3 girls start off in love with Otaru as programmed to, but Otaru IMO doesn't love them back in the same way. Bloodberry even developes feelings for another man. Otaru accepts their love and cherishes it greatly but to him, the girls are more like his daughters than his lovers. Which is why I think the ending of J to X is so great also.
Okay, done with my robo-love rant.
It's cool that we can see what type of girls you guys go for

CPO Klerk: Yoriko and Kyouko are like the same characters, they're funny and happy but always just on the side to help out the man characters, eye glasses included
. Miyuki and Naru are also similar; main characters, not so sure about their own feelings of love, good at what they do.
Noir: Doormat girls! Well, I wouldn't use that term really since they'll probably fight back if ppl walk all over them.
They are girls that are more than eager to please their lovers, meek, softspoken, a bit shy. No desires of their own really other than the safety and success of their loved ones. Whatever their man wants is what they want. Well, I think Tessa has a pretty strong back, never seen Tenjou Tenge.
It looks like Taurec and Belisarius have more of a mix. I dunno enough of the other characters to guess about the you others. I'll let someone else analyze my choices.

While Yumi is cute, I wouldn't date her... wait a minute, I think I would, but the ones I listed were what I could remember from the top of my head
I almost put Ayanami Rei in there, but then remembered: I wouldn't go out with a lifeless doll (or seemingly so).
I left Tessa off the list, because she seems to get manipulative later on.
Triela from Gunslinger Girl isn't on there because of the age difference... or is she 16?
Maybe I'll add her then...
I'd love to explain my choices, but let's wait for the weekend...
