Saw a bunch of ppl downloading this so I decided to check it out too. It's a love-triangle comdey, I can never get enough of those.

Ep1 has finished downloading but I only had time to skim it a bit, looks pretty funny. Won't have time to watch it all until later. Just wanted to start a thread for it now

Alright, watched ep1, I'll give a brief summary/spoiler, it's only the first ep so I don't think it'll ruin it much

Tsukamoto Tenma is a 2nd year in high school who has a huge crush on a boy in school, Karasumaru. But when she finally ended up in the same class as he, she finds out he's going to transfer away. So out of desperation she with him a love letter (more of a love epic) to confess her love but forgets to sign her name on it. Karasumaru reads it and decides to stay for another year. On the other hand, Tsukamoto does not know that she is loved by another guy, Harima Kenji. He's a delinquent that gets in fights all the time but is misunderstood. He writes a love letter to Tsukamoto to ask her to meet him behind the gym, but unfortunately, he is also challenged to a fight behind the gym, confusion ensues, Harima fails to confess his feelings.

So I'm expecting this comedy to continue about Tsukamoto and Harima trying to harder to declare their love as the relationship between the three people developes. Ah, it's so much funnier to watch it yourselves instead of reading what I write, so go watch it.

BTW, the ending song is really catchy. ^_^

...about the only thing that stuck in my mind after watching this
was the bicycle race the three engaged in towards the end... and
the GRATITUOUS Initial D ref the animators just HAD to stick in

Another group has decided to fansub School Rumble. So I went ahead and downloaded A4L's ep1 and compared it with Dash's (-) ep1.

Video quality wise, they look the same. Except Dash's is a bit brighter/more over-exposed. Either is fine with me.

A4L's font bugs me, a little too fancy to be subtitles. And as for translation, I like Dash's more; little stuff like translating "Harry Mackenzie" from katagana and "whiteboy" for gaijin (though "foreigner" would be more correct but whiteboy fits Harima's style), and "Mr. Idiot" for obaka-san in the ending lyrics. So my verdict is to stick with Dash's fansubs (for now ^_^).

wait till u guys watch the episode wif the matrix bullet time... that rocks too... (tenma becomes a top house archer) guess who is neo doing the bullet time to avoid her arrow shower... watch to find out.. i m not spoiling!

Watched [WF]'s fansub of ep3. So funny.

I couldn't stop laughing when the sad piano solo starts playing in the background at the end when Harima-police runs away in tears. ROFL

About WF's ep3, the sub-job seems good. Don't have any other ep3 subs to compare it with yet but all the words flowed nicely and the font is good.
