FullMetal*Panic!

I try to think outside the box. More often than not, that has gotten me in in big trouble, on this site, other sites, and in reality. That is why I try to keep my big mouth shut! But the subject I want to discuss here is not another "I love this show" or, "What is your favorite anime?" I want to know what show everybody dislikes. Why? because everybody I know finds negative reviews more intresting than positive reveiws. So, keep it clean, and keep it intresting!

Infinite Ryvius - It was whine, whine, whine, cry, and whine some more. It's the only series where I wanted to reach into the screen and slap everyone. I don't like Lord of the Flies either.

Dragonball of any flavor - argh....... it's soooooo......... mind numbingly stupid

I suffered through one movie, Tree of Might?, and I swear, I felt stupider after having watched it. It was nothing but an endless fight between characters with NO other plot points at all. In fact the basic premise of the whole movie was so outrageously idiotic and juvenile I find it hard to comprehend that an adult might have dreamed it up. Even a horrible, plotless, pointless anime might be made at least visually appealing through it's artwork, but DB is unsurprisingly lacking in that area as well. Both the anime and manga are so UGLY that I find it a sad commentary on artistic appreciation throughout the world that it's so popular.

After that train wreck, and a couple of other DB samplings I have concluded that if you enjoy DBZ you are a grey-matter-deficient, hormone-driven, artistically ignorant, juvenile MORON. About now is when I'd usually put in something like "but that's just my opinion"... and it is of course, but I am putting that statement forward more as FACT than opinion, so I invite you to be offended because I mean every word of it. In the same way that I think anyone who actually enjoys Laurell Hamilton's latest books is lacking in higher brain functioning, anyone who actually likes DB MUST be clinically retarded.

In fact, now that I type it out I guess a lot of my beef is with the fans of that show. Any fool can come up with something as bad as DB, but that it's actually gained such popularity is what's really appaling. Can't people get interested in something else? Something that requires, say, more than 5 brain cells to comprehend?

So yeah, that's my diatribe against the show (and manga) I detest.

As an aside, I also find it highly discouraging to reading dd's latest fics that Naruto has been named twice out of only four previous posts as the worst anime.

First impression: Divergence Eve

Ever had an deja vu while watching anime ... !!??

Because this is a anime that we all have seen before, and the last time we saw it, we hated it. ...

One word: BREASTS !!! They are fricking everywhere, ... i mean there is just no place to hide for em,
oooh boy and they are big no HUGE, vicious and they are coming to get ya.. you can't run ....

Just try to ignore them right away .. because if you don't .. Well i don't even want to think about what might happen.

So, whats it about? ... i don't know ...and i don't even know if i actually want to find out.

It's seems to be in the future (sounds familiar) .... there are girls (no shit) in the type of tight suits who prolly would let Jerry Ryan (7of9) faint in a second..(jup we saw that)

We have some heavy use of CGi and some of it really looked ok (but we have seen that before)
and there is this girl (Rei) who has blue hair (shock) and seems to doing some scary fight stuff with an enemy that only manages to throw purple balls and growls ... (Grrrrrr)

I mean it was if i went back in time and was looking at King Kong while he was standing on a big building tossing sticks and stones at the passing airplanes ...

This "fight" is then animated in the worst kind of lame CG you ever saw .. i mean it's an disgrace to have animation like this in 2003 ...

I think they have spend way to much money in making all those huge breasts bounce naturally... and even that they manage to screw up.

The series starts at mission two.. and it's suppose to backtrack the rest of the story (if any)

So what is the good part of this then ............................................. euuh well the ending song .. that one is nice ...
So give us a clean version of that and leave us alone.

For the testosterone driven fanboys among us ... have fun watching i'm sure you will like it. just don't stare .... i fear permanent brain damage might occur.

As you have read .. i'm a tinsy winsy little disappointed in the first ep of this series.
It showed some potential .. but it left me behing with a burning itchy feeling in my groin area.

So i'm gonna watch some rewinds of Vandread .. because they showed that it's already been done before and they managed to get it right.

I can't really hate an anime... dislike it at most. But for something like Raxephon, I hate it cuz so many people think it's good (but I think it sucks). But we've gone through this before.

For one thing, there's a problem with a show if you can go a third of the way through it before you find a single character that is remotely likeable. When you add this to the fact that the last third or so of the series is completely nonsensical and takes itself way, way too seriously it makes for a pretty lousy show.

Admittedly, the mediocrity of the show isn't what makes it "that one show I hate." What does that is it's fanbase. Specifically, the unwavering rabidity of most of it. Say even the slightest negative thing about the series and they're out for your blood. Because after all Eva is the best anime series of all time and has no flaws at all. While there are other series out there with generally awful, awful fan followings *cough*NarutoDBZ*cough* I've yet to encounter any other series (anime or otherwise) that has such a large percentage of rabid asshats making up it's following as Eva seems to have.

Hamtaro. It's so sweet it makes me nauseous. Cardcaptor Sakura has the same effect.

I am amazed, and impressed that people actually replied, let alone read my forum. I must say thank you to all who replied. Also, I agree that Pokemon and DB shoud die! Please note that although I say that I am an Evil Genius, I do not encourage any form of violence. although it is fun to watch.
