Depends whether you're talking base2 or base10... DUH!! :roll: I think we've
been aware of this for years now?
The lawsuit against Western Digital alleged the company's 80-gigabyte hard drive had an actual capacity of 74.4 gigabytes. If not for that 7 percent shortfall, the buyer could have stored an additional 80 hours of digital music or 5,600 digital pictures, the suit claimed.
(Over)stating the fact alittle?

and don't forget, FOrmatted capacity is not the same as the raw capacity.
You loose a nice chunk when you format it.

plus, adding on space taken for format and drive information installed even after low-level formatting.

btw, a bill doesn't equal a bill when you're compairing singaporian currency with european currency. :P
