What, I have been a member of a forum for months and I have not found nor made bodmod topic yet. Must be some kind of personal record
Personally I am a big bodmod fan. I found it very fascinating how human body can adapt even extreme mods, and also very typical mods like ear lobe piercings kind of make lines between human body and external object blur. At their best, mods can really be an art form.
Also while getting a piercing or a tattoo (and why not other mods as well, I just have no experience with them) you can overcome your fear of pain or needles or something like that for a momet, even if you don't feel real fear for them. After all, avoiding most kind of pains is written our genes.
That is what captivates me in bodmod, how about you? Or maybe you can't stand kind of mods and wish people would leve themselvs as they are? Anyway, shere your toughts and/or your mods with us.

The bodmod topic
(English is not my native language, so my writings are pretty crappy. Try to live with it.)
well, I have nothing against well done tattoos. I'm thinking of getting one myself someday. I'm not a big fan of piercings. the human body is beatiful as it is (not all of them ) and doen't need any foreign objects and extensions.
this bodmod stuff (branding, stretching, cutting and those thigs) is IMO awful. we should sherish our lifes and bodys and don't cripple ourself. body and soul are bound together and defines what we are.
but everybody can do what they want, so decide yourself how to value your life

To test yourself with pain there are easier methodes
1) Physical therapy (believe me I know)
2) Acupuncture (This I know first hand aswel)
3) Strenght training, you can experience a lot of pain during the training and 2 or 3 day after
Bodmod isn't my thing. But each to his own.
