Then again, Sousuke still looks like a pretty, young, nubile thing. Could also be amount of years spent under stress. Did Kalinin have dark hair in that picture?sj4iy wrote:It says it in DVMC- it mentions that he looks older b/c of the kind of life he's led (who wouldn't look old when you've done the stuff he has?)

I would put him more early late 20's early 30's. He couldn't be in his 40's in that pic b/c it's 13 years prior, and if he's in his 40's now, the oldest he could be there is mid 30's.Weltall Elite wrote:And he looks to be in his late 30s or early 40s in that pic.

I don't remember seeing anything about his age in the novels. Where does it mention it?
Anyway, I guess he was always old. He probably popped out of the womb at around 15. :p
Though, if he really is in his 40s, then he's probably right around Gauron's age. Makes me wonder how far back their history goes. The idea that they might have been rivals is very interesting.

On a good day, a Tomahawk can fly into the door of a two-car garage at the distance of several hundred miles. And that can ruin your whole day.

Sure you could. Isn't keeping Sousuke alive enough to give anyone heart attacks?Weltall Elite wrote:Dang. And I was considering having him die of heart problems in one of my fics.
Okay. Maybe not Kalinin then.

With their uncanny knack for survival, he and Gauron must have been buddies at some point. :p
Gauron: Well, skydiving at 30,000 feet with a Margarita umbrella sure was fun! Wha'dya say next week we play chicken with the bullet train on tricycles with no wheels and C4 strapped to our stomachs?
Kalinin: Sure. But I don't think it'll be quite as exciting as that time we did the electric slide naked in a mine field in that alligator infested swamp with raw fish strapped to us.
Gauron: Ahh, yeah. I still had the knife I used to cut the fish in my hand while I danced. I could have fallen and gotten hurt. Guess that was pretty reckless.

LOLOLOL
I'm now wodering if Gauron and Kalinin would feel right at home in the Virgin cliffs....
Sousuke will do well in the mountains.
Indian Glaival: GRAWAHHH! *THUNK*
Gauron: Feh, that was easy.
Pain: I am the PAIN! *bee bullets*
Kalinin: Damn. That's interesting.
Gauron: Are ya kidding? This is nothing! We have worse in cambodia!

I have a question. COMO is going to be the novel with all those rumor's we've been hearing about with Leonard kidnapping and stomping around Tokyo and all that, right? But it seems strange to me that no one seems to have any real info on what happens after Sousuke promises to bring Kaname home. All the rumors tend to get very vague. Does the novel end on that note? I've heard it ends on a cliffhanger. Does that mean there'll be yet another novel after that where Sosuke actually goes after her? And if so, has that novel actually been released yet?HELLFIRE wrote:Small update to the FAQ: BokuTachi looking to do the next novel 'Tsuzuku on My Own / Continuing on My Own' when DVMC's finished.
