What bot? .. <g>

Oh I love golf ... butchering the grass with iron #9 or the fun on the Driver clinic trying to hit the dude driving the ball collection golf-cart. :-D

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

lol XD The second I put the club into the ground went from "pretty decent distance, really straight" to missing the ball completely out of overcompensation not to locate the ground again with my swing (which by then, coincidentally the ground was missing about two inches @.@)... That action hurts like whoa.

When I started the first few swings I missed the little ball completely.
My instructor suggested I had to adjust my grip just a little, since holding the driver like a katana does make for a cool pose but doesn't get the ball very far.

I decided to accept his wisdom and went on enthusiastically kill.. err hitting the round object.

After a short while it became an obsession and right after that it became the focus of my hate and right about then I started hitting it .... far ... and far it went to the left .. to the right .. to the parking lot (BMW's and Porsche's dent just a well as sub 50K cars.)

After a few disapproving glances of the instructor I finally figured out the direction bit .. but ran out of balls. :(

Then we went chipping ... as IT person chipping comes with the territory and slabs of grass, eventually not a problemo .. but that putting bit I filed a complaint because the green just had to be uneven and the put diameter was for sure too little.

I do recall a few sore muscles in my back the next day :)

As you say, it is fine to grow old, but not so much up. I may have someone stitch that into a sampler, seems like a good Philosophy for Life. Barkeep, pass that man one of those Zima things!

...round on CPOK, he mentioned the B-word... or put another way, can't stay young, but you can stay immature

So how'd you mark the day? Burn down the house? Paint explitives in 4
different languages over the neighbor's garage? Drive your friend's car into
a brick wall and say you were testing it's structural integrity?

On a good day, a Tomahawk can fly into the door of a two-car garage at the distance of several hundred miles. And that can ruin your whole day.
