The rig's basically a steel ring with a bunch of highend DSLR cameras on it... kinda
like how they did Matrix bullet time. The software seems to be where they work the magic,
but I didn't get close enough to figure out what software they were using to stitch this together.
Back in Brisbane... d**n a few hours in and I'm melting in my own sweat again, though
there's a bit of a thunderstorm going.
I'm here till the 13th, then the ardurous flight back to LAX, then on to Canada.
D**n am I NOT looking forward to dealing with TSA inspection again...

Nothing special with the software. You just flip through the images in sequence. The smoothness of the video is based on the number of cameras, more cameras = smoother images. Since film is 24fps, 24 cameras equals one second of footage.The main part is synchronizing the cameras and flashes.
Its called "bullet time" or "adrenalin time" photography. Have a google, as cut and paste doesn't work well for my smart phone.

Don't remind me... I'm torn whether I should power up the work laptop and connect to the work email now or Monday AM.
And whether I should WFH Monday or go into the office...
Back home safe and sound with minimal drama at the border... and parents decided to spring dinner on me just as I got
picked up at the airport *le sigh* So much for readjusting the body clock today.
Oh yeah, should TOTALLY do an FMP Japan trip... Just give me about 6months to reestablish my savings again...

My family got a nice shiny ps4, which I intelligently set up when i picked it up in november, so we avoided the Ddos attack on psn. Hohoho like we didn't see that coming.....
The kiddies git the new skylanders, batman 3 and little big planet 3. While me, the wife and the teen have lara croft and the last of us to play with.
Now I can take back the ps3 and finish off my jrpg backlog. Lol I've become too much of a gamer recently. Lol
I'm off since weds and wont be going back to work till the 5th. Bwahahahahah! Finally..... a vacation......
