Just got out of Captain Marvel... on it's own, I didn't hate it, but I didn't think it was [insert superlative here].
Compared to Wonder Woman, I know the two characters are fundamentally different -- Wonder Woman was
about love and hope, Captain Marvel was a bit all over the place, but her final line of "I don't have to prove anything
to you" did resonate. I also found it interesting that instead of doing her origin in a linear fashion, Captain Marvel
dropped you into the action and flashed you back. Brie Larson's sass and humor bits were definitely enjoyable,
and I think she's got good chemistry with Samuel L Jackson.
