If I get email bounce notices from people registering with invalid email (or even typoing their email), I delete them.

Please re-register with a valid email address.

Are a couple of the recent sign-ups the same person?

You must use a working email address when you register in order to receive the confirmation email. You will not be able to log in until you confirm your account.

Please re-register using a working email, and double check that it is accurate.

If your email is a working email and you have not received the confirmation email, you can email me directly for assistance.

And after you confirm your membership, I don't care if you keep a valid email address on file or not. You can change it to whatever you want, and I'll have no record of it. But if you do this, you must turn off all of your email notice options in your profile, because I will complain to you if notices sent to you bounce back into my email.
