Why did Sousuke choose to go with her, I mean... he knew she was a prostitute.

Did he really think that ...having fun could help him forget about Kaname?
I think its a bit depressing... there was no prostitute in the novel...they streched almost a half of a chapter (or less) into one full episode

I wish they had enlarged some other (important) scenes, but most of this episode seems a bit dispensable to me.

Only 2 episodes left.

The prostitute was introduced for a very specific reason: a design decision has been made to do very little introspective character monologue...for better or worse, that's what they've chosen...

It should be noted that the novel and the anime can't be too similar, since the past anime were also different, and Sousukes hatred for the arbalast wasn't portrayed very well, and hasn't been elaborated upon very much...it was a crucial, if not the most crucial theme of the corresponding novel...

But I unno. I agree, the distribution of playtime across these events is...I would've done it differently.

i was thinking before that this episode would end with sousuke walking into gauron's room, but i suppose that's not the case?

Oh my GAWD!! What WAS Sousuke thinking when he went off with her?!

Personal curiosity if they used Satsuki Yukino (Kaname's VA) to do her
'twin' as well or what... if that's her natural voice...

So he doesn't go for women, and he doesn't go for booze to decompress...
so what's a guy raised on the battlefield supposed to do for kicks? Idunno,
the depressed look Sousuke had the entire ep kinda pissed me off, but
on the other, seeing him with the streetwalker... and just thinking about
his situation on general makes me realize he doesn't have much of a connection
to what'd we'd term as 'the real world.'

...how DOES he keep sane?

Just watched a subtitled version.

I quite liked the prostitutes dialogue...heh. It's interesting how Sousuke is, once again, clueless as to what exactly happens when he speaks up...It's almost like he's autistic or something, nearly completely incapable of taking the reactions other people might have into consideration before saying or doing something...

Even so...I would've rather heard the reactions of more people aboard the De Daanan as to Sousuke's decision, than have that conversation so long.

yea it was a lil too lengthy; although i still got a kick outta the girl-look-a-like ^^

i personally liked souske's face; he really looked like he wanted to cry; to just let it all out; i found the prostitute a lil too annoyin' tho, especially at the end where she got mad at him, even after he gave her money... sheesh

activate ecs mode!!!

Er hey all again, Ive been watched the subs of the second raid ( only anime I watch now ) a few things, ( spoilers up to episode 11 contained below I guess )

- Was I the only one who picked up on that evil sick crazy scientist looking guy ( really bad with names ), at the beginning in the heli suggest he was going to pick up Yu Fangs body and...uh...have sex with it? If so...wow they really upped the age rating

- Was the prostitute ( or maybe just wild girl ) Sagara was with, really look like that? Or was he just imagining it? Cause it looked way too similar to Chidori...

- Any chance we will get to find out about the two twin assasins history and how their "sensei" picked em up and stuff?

actually now that u mention it I really thought about that too...
I was like.. errr.. did I hear that wrong or is he going to do something
naughty to her body... @_@ but then again maybe they were talking
about something else like experiment with it or something
