Not much known about this new anime, all I know it's directed by Shuko Murase (Witch Hunter Robin) and scripted by Dai Sato (Samurai Champloo and
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex !!!)
It looks stunning check out the trailer on the official site.

It airs in februari and as said I like the dark look of it.

In a world where humans and robots live together, there exists a domed city named "Romudo". Under the implementation of complete management control, it is a paradise where feelings are literally discarded. But this utopian landscape is soon broken by a series of mystifying murders. Ril Meyer, a female inspector from the Citizen Information Board, is tasked to solve the murder cases. As she digs deeper, she is soon entangled into the mystery of the "Awakening", an event which will change her life, and the lives living in Romudo...forever.

The fist episode was great. It was like GITS meets Bladerunner meets Apple Seed.

For me this is definately looking like one of the best "spring" anime out there.
The plot is complex and promising the animation is fantastic. Lets see if it's up to par with GITS ....

Somebody kill that freakoZoid Autorave it just totally ruined the shower scene. <grin> (I bet Motoko would have kicked his ass :P)

This Serie Keeps jumping over my expectations..
I really enjoyed the second ep, and was really eager
to know what will happen next... I can say that I
havent felt that way in a LONG time considering all
the "bad" animes coming out right now... everyone
of them about a stupid "weak/geeky" guy with a million
chicks, they just piss me off lately.. >_>

[Ep 2 Spoiler Talk][ecs]
the Bad Proxy seems to be one hell of a killing machine or
the people at the mall or whatever the place where they were
"were" all really slow to just stand there and get killed.[/ecs]

Ugly robots = -1 Star

So as of right now, this will be a top priority serie for me..

....afaik, EP's been licenced... and either it's got a whacky broadcast schedule
or a whole lot of subgroups are keeping off the radar on this one... :think:

Considering the dubious selection of series right now, I may have to give this one a try...

Does someone of you guys know for sure if the series is licensed or not?
I'm not sure because I see files and stuff on bittorrent etc.

sorry if I ask, I'm still quite a noob at all at fansub and anime stuff in general.
I don't ask for downloads!

edit: Ok... I checked Animesuki and they say it is already licensed.
that's to bad :(
because I live in germany we don't get most of the anime on DVD at all or a year or more later after the series were produced.And buying from the US is so damn expensive...

yesterday I saw on AVD germany that they now release Fumoffu.
I watched the trailer with german dubs. It was just a pain to my ears.
They can't even spell sousuke correctly.
In general german dubs for cinematic movies or TV series are at a high quality level but most of the anime-stuff sucks :(

I didnt quite get it how he managed to escape from the evil proxy
in the previous ep at the end but i guess theyr gonna explain that
later on or something.. (or not at all :? )

The ep was cool as the last one even though it didnt have as much action
in it, The dude ended the ep with the same badass stare again heh before
he jumped of the 'building?' made the other head character
(fall in love with him at first "eye" sight ? :love: ) or just gave her the experssion
that his geeky:ness was just an act to be a good citizen.[/ecs]

Caught the 1st 2 eps myself... ep1 was kinda a 'meh' thing, prolly due to most
of the action was so dark... that or my CRT mon's packing it in. Nr 2's
shaping up to be a backroom conspiracy / Brave New World kinda thing...
least that's the impression I get.

Lin's charming personality makes up for things tho :-D

Up to episode 6. So far so good. They can't get this stuff subbed fast enough. Great anime!! :-D

#7 Finally get to see what Lil looks like WITHOUT all that eyeshadow...
and we're finally introduced to the dirty laundy this supposedly 'utopian'
scoiety wants to keep hidden -- definately in the 'Brave New World' vein
of things, wanting to maintain order / status quo simply for the sake of
appearances. However, a countermove enacted by that Raul guy leaves
Lil dead?!?!?!?! :shock: :shock: She's the main freakin' character!! :shock:

Meanwhile Vincent Law's left alone on his quest to return to his native Russia...
anyway to get Pino to shut up for 30seconds straight? :roll:

I've watched a couple of episodes now and I still have no freakin' clue what's goin' on! However, I hang on because the art is good. Gosh, I'm sooo superficial :-P That silly suit that Pino wears is actually pissing me off. Please tell me they get rid of it!
