Your argument sounds good to me :-) Mechanical / software tampering, I don't think so Something as complex as the Lamda Drive which uses emotions would focus on the emotional state of the pilot. A friend of mine downloaded it and showed me an episode. After that I was hooked.

Since then I have had him down load the enitre series for me which I have watched.

I'm in the UK so we don't get the wide variety as much as you in the US do.
