Then the specs mentioned in the dialouge/novel certainly match the 500 better than they match the car shown... Well, I guess another reason to remove a Lupin reference would be to emphasize the darker atmosphere of the series over the others (not exactly very dark to "quote" the granddady of all act...

It's interesting that they changed the model of car used from the novels. In the novels, the car was simply referred to as a Fiat, but the illustration made it quite clear that it was in fact a Fiat 500 (and yellow to boot), as driven by Lupin III... That model is much more in keeping with the 90 km...
