It's been a LONG time since this came out now, but I still love it every time I watch it (got the RAW the night it was released in Japan). I find it great how Al is such a smartass. "The enemy is acting strange" "The chest is taking fire" "Please gather your courage and pursue the enemy" XD Awesome....

As Taurec said, if you notice, the Lambda Driver is used offensively on numerous occasions. I also think you could probably shoot some energy ball or beam at a longer range, since all you have to do is visualize it. The LD can also enhance the power of the AS's weapons, like when Sousuke blew away e...

Just to further emphasize the time and effort required in translating an entire novel, I'm currently attempting to translate Burning One Man Force for kicks. PAIN IN THE ASS (but easier in some ways because it's not mostly based in Japan and has slightly less cultural nuances that foreigners wouldn'...

Um, yeah. Some are inaccurate. SRT = Special Response Team. It specifically refers to the Uruz unit. EMFC is correct. I'm pretty sure the "C" in ECS is for "Concealment", by the way. It's not some optical refraction (bending) technology, as far as I can confirm. The technology is quoted to emit a st...

And finally... the ARX-7 Arbalest! http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/8254/2127superrobottaisenjwrg0035zy.png This is Sagara Sousuke's AS. It's equipped with the Lambda Driver for maximum slaughter and survivability, although this is of no importance here. In the game, when the unit's morale is a cert...

http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/1259/2127superrobottaisenjwrg0022cs.png Okay, so this is Melissa Mao's M9 Gernsback. I know that it has an antennae thing for jamming communications, but that doesn't matter here. It has all the standard armaments. 1. Chain Gun On both sides of head. It's like the r...
