I was wondering when someone was finally going to manage this; it's about time! 
I find TokyoPop to be pretty decent. They translated the Kare Kano manga well enough for me not to find it an issue.

I personally don't see a problem with TP's translations either. But you do know there's an issue with some of their translation teams when the Japanese artists for Astray get pissed at TP's translation of it. Of course, they replaced the translator that did that a long time ago, and now its Japanese honorifics that are the new quirk. But really, I'm just happy I can go read it in a language I understand. As long as I can get the general idea of what happens, I'm fine.

Finally! i've always wanted real copies of the novels.......also thumbs up for them getting the welcome to the N.H.K novels can't wait to get both novels.

They are doing some other multi-volume novels, so chances are high the dramatic ones aren't going to be excluded.

I had to wait 10 years for the Seikai no Monshō novels and if you followed Kings Dark Tower, you know what it mean to be patient.

Besides, their work on Keroro Gunso has been excellent, and I haven't seen many complaints about their work recently.
If anything, I respect the fact that Tokyopop has the guts to go after these licenses...
