Just got an email announcement from Amazon that Full Metal Panic! (novel) Volume 4: Ending Day by Day: Part 1 (Full Metal Panic) (Paperback) will be released on December 16, 2008.

Upside: Awright! A release date!
Downside: A release date three and half months away!

the depressing note (at least for me) is that the novels from this point until COMO are the ones that have been fan translated
so to read anything that i haven't read yet, i'll need to wait like a year and a half... grrr
