Just dropping a note that there are reports of the first volume popping up on places that sell manga.

I don't have it, don't know when I can afford it, so if anyone does get it, how about posting some opinions? :)

I read everything that was in it when it ran in NTUSA, so the compiled version was nothing new to me.

The cover is nothing spectacular, pretty bland, IMO. (the cover being the only thing you didn't get in NTUSA :P ) So if you read all of the manga inserts in NTUSA, you may just want to wait it out until volume 2 is released. Volume 2 will consist of all new content.

or till volume 3, since most of volume 2 has been scanlated. well, anyone who supports fmp should buy volume 1 and two as well, i guess ;)

FMP vol 1 does have new material that didn't run in NTUSA- their final installment didn't finish out the chapter they were in so there are like 4 or 5 new pages in Vol 1. (big whoop, I know  ) I'm just still a little irked that NTUSA couldn't even at least finish the chapter...

Anyway, I saw a rumor of a release date for Vol 3, late feb.

Bummed a copy a friend bought... Ohkay, if you thought Sousuke
was anit-social in the anime, well he's several times that in the manga.
And Chidori's right hand is ALOT stronger than a solid whack over
the head... Earth has a new man-amde satellite!! Story-wise, Vol 1
covers elements from eps 1-8.

...waiting for when I can pick up my own copy (when my local comics
shop stocks it), and for news on Vol2
