Yeah, I had huge hard time to upload it there yesterday, it was pretty unstable....
But I also sent it to the list when I read that it was possible (afterwards... *lol*), so you might have got it, Jae? ^^
If you didn't, I can resend it to you, of course I'd be okay to have it on your site! ^_^ It's just a sketch, so gomen, but if you want, I'll make more later, when I get time. ^_^ Maybe a thingie for each of the main characters or something. ^_^

Mechas

Post by Electronic Zaku »

Ahaha... well, I don't have any sketches at hand, and I'm not really in the 'mecha drawing mood' right now. However, I will get some up. Sometime soon, me hopes. :-D

Also, it's pretty hard to draw the mecha, since I don't have any referencing materials(only the M9 I have, that I do).
Say Jae, where do you think I can gets the FMP Design Collection?

Kodachiko's sketch!

The end of the rainbow....

Er, no really- I'm not sure. Just keep checking eBay and other auctions sites with anime stuff. I don't know how it was distro'ed in Japan, but it's not in normal merchants or shops that I've seen (no ISBN and all...)

About the last 3rd *is* mech designs though- I can tell you that you really want it if you want reference materials :)
The production gallery on dvd 0 has more of the design sheets though (and really nifty background work too) *but* their resolution was so horrible for it I wouldn't even really consider ripping it to cap- virtually worthless. :(
I wish they had just put everything in the book.

OhOh! there is supposed to be some anime guide coming out this month, I'm not sure if it might have more design stuff (or the same old same old)

And if ADV reproduces the dvd booklets to be similar to the R2s, each booklet will have 1 or 2 mech designs too. (hope)

The end of the rainbow....
Is that the big landscapey one with black and white pictures of people and there's a really really funny one of a load of Mithril people standing in a row so you can see their comparative heights and at the end is a very rough sketch of Sousuke's head that's about the funniest thing I ever did see?

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

landscapey? *ponders*

black and white, yeah....
a couple of pages of comparative heights....yeah
funny sketch of sousuke's head....maybe
Well, they aren't sketches, exactly, they're the design sheets used by the animators, so they're more precise than just a sketch.

By landscapey do you mean, wide?
It's this one
I'm still half-asleep I think, sorry

Yup, that's the one. :)

Sorry, I know I can be a bit incoherent at times when I've had caffeine. (Landscape as opposed to portrait. I used to say sideways but people'd look at me funny. XD)
