Fox Hunt...
Chapter 1
It all started as a routine bust; they sent us in to take out some so-called annoyances. Apparently some politicians in the U.N. did some underground weapons dealing to the Yakuza’s. They started these illegal weapons dealings back in 1997; France was at the head of these dealings.
We had been sent into Kyoto on foot and were ordered to radio back to the DaDaanan if we ran into any “obstacles.” They would send in the Arbalest accompanied by two M9 units if we were in deep trouble. I thought about it for awhile, if we were sent in to deal with minor annoyances then why would we need such heavy firepower. I learned very soon that this thorn in the world’s side would soon be an infection that could not be easily eradicated.
To understand the entire situation we must start back at the beginning of the story. The hunt began at 0400 hours; we were in the South China Sea when Mithril HQ radioed in a new mission for the SRT. I was assigned to Tokyo again, even though I “eliminated” Gauron there was still a lingering threat so Kalinin requested I be sent back to guard Ms. Chidori, code-named Angel. To be honest I wasn’t mad at all, I would return to school and to Kaname. I still don’t understand this feeling but I have an etch in my heart that can only be filled by her, it seems as if the wound re-opened when I was forced into a large scale conflict involving Gauron and the abduction of Angel.
I flipped through the paperwork, filled out each form and re-took my school identification picture. I had not used a fake name like all the other times, for once I did not use a code name or my name given to me during my time as a Terrorist in Helmagistan, I was and still am just Sousuke Sagara. Kaname may not be the calmest person in the world but she still helped me become me, it may not make much sense but in reality my life does not make much sense.
Well that sums up my first mission in Tokyo, and now I return to her a third time. Staring off into the deep sea I see her, I always see her and it makes me happy. Happiness, just a word but a powerful one, this feeling of complete bliss, I can find Eden right along side her.
The Helicopter took off into the darkening sky, the setting sun letting off a little light, just enough to illuminate the horizon in a gentle orange glow. Across from me sat Kurtz Weber, the blonde sharpshooter with a craving for beautiful women. Next to him sat a woman who helped me countless times, without her I would never had met Kaname. When we arrived in Tokyo Kalinin contacted us, we were in separate rooms, and I had the safe house that we had occupied during the Gauron period.
The next day I attended school, many people did not recognize me right off the back, I guess people easily forget you when just show up then leave again. I can imagine a few people that could never forget me, besides Kaname. Kazama, and Kyouko to name a few. I walked through the school passing by many familiar sights, class 2-4, the cafeteria, the field, and the gym. About five minutes after the first bell rang I made it to the classroom I was assigned to, class 3-4, the fourth homeroom of the third year students.
Turning the door handle I stepped into the classroom, I heard gasp as I stood in front of the classroom. One person’s voice in particular caught my attention, Kaname. The teacher smiled at me, she turned towards the class and spoke as she continued to smile possible suspect. “Class we have a new student joining us, he attended Jindai last year but left before the third year began, seeing as most of you do not remember him I will have him re-introduce himself to you.”
I stood at attention, much as I did before, but learning from past experiences I left out details that are quite unbelievable. “Good morning, my name is Sousuke Sagara.” There was much shuffling among the class; I observed the class, some new faces. I glanced towards the rear end of the classroom and smiled, it was her. For some reason she seamed to be crying, I noticed a tear gently trickle down her right cheek, right past her smile. She spoke silently so no one would notice, I think she didn’t want even I to notice, but I did and a great warmth overcame me. She said, “welcome back Sousuke...”
The teacher placed her hand on my shoulder; she pointed out the only seat in the classroom in the back, next to Kaname. “Take your seat Mr. Sagara, today we will be studying Technological Military Advancements in the 20th Century.”
“Roger!” My usual response to most orders.
As I took my seat next to Chidori I noticed the trees shuffle outside, Kurtz had the perimeter secured. Kaname leant over to me and grinned, “no Otaku stuff Sousuke, my hasilen is still waiting for you.” She let out a small giggle when she saw my nervous state; sometime in the near future I will be reintroduced to the PAPER-FAN!
The day went well for the most part; I came out with a few bruises. I attacked the lunch women after discovering a small trace of what resembled explosive powder in the lunch rolls; it turned out to be that the lunch rolls were just burnt a little. The affect of my little intervention of the normal lunch serving routine caused a major explosion in the kitchen facilities. During P.E. I turned the baseball field into a minefield, of course they were not mines that could cause death but the could seriously injure a person.
After detention I returned home to find Kaname waiting for me in front of my door, she smiled when I gave her my hand. I noticed a small parcel with her, had she cooked me food or was it a welcome home present. “Here Sousuke,” she handed me the small present, “I made it while you were still at school.”
I opened the door slowly holding the package under my left arm. I turned towards Kaname walking down the hall. “Kaname,” I hollered down the hall.
She swiftly turned around and gave me a big smile, “yes Sousuke.”
I gazed at her a swallowed the growing lump in my throat, “would you please eat this with me.” She seemed surprised, “I mean, you did make it and I do not think I would feel right enjoying this with out you.” She blushed and I smiled, apparently she did still like me somewhat.
Kaname hurried over to me and pulled me inside the room, “ok Sousuke lets go.” She held me by my right hand as she guided me to my kitchen and set up the table. Kaname stared at me, that warmth turned from a small spark into a flaming torch, I still didn’t understand how I felt about her at the time.
After we had set the table and brought out all the food she grabbed chopsticks. I sat at the end of the table facing the door and she facing the window, I knew it wasn’t the smartest of places to sit but for the time being I was just happy she was here, here with me.

Please be better.... To much flames arg... wait no one even reads, at least with flames I know what I can improve upon... Oh well whatever I'm gonna have some fun with this one.
Ok so the basic rundown is this... Every other chapter will switch off perspective, I could end up writing the same chapter with different events and the same facts but the state of mind is different, well because it's coming from a different person.
Obviously this first one is Sousuke's... You can probably guess whom the next canadite for the chapter 2 perspective is!! Actually Im going votage on this one... Sorry Tessa fans, if your reading this one and actually gonna stand by you will have to wait till chapter 4 for the Tessa Chapter!!! And for you evil people the Gauron Chapter is gonna be great!!!
I hope Fox Hunt turns out good for you guys cause I had some fun in this first chapter, Im slightly addicted to searching the web for an Arbalest model, if it even exist, and playing FF11 or Socom
Wish me some luck with this one, im not stopping the Eden one though, just putting it on hold!!
