Episode Four: Heart of the Found
Everyone talks about a tunnel and light. Whether you believe it to be a spiritual, super natural or just lack of oxygen in the brain. The same vision came to me
Most leave a trail on the road of life usually accomplishments, dreams, and loves. But in my case I left a trail of dead bodies. Close family I had lost. My mother and father my uncle my grandfather, they all passed yet I lived. I miss them all my heartaches from loneness I saw them all passed before my eyes the accidents that stole my parents the disease that stole my uncle the time that took my grand dad.
Part of me wished to join them another part wished to return to the living.
“What do I doe the confusion? Why do I feel confusion these visions are supposed to make one feel peace full and content, why is it I feel so lost and disorientated?”
“Because it is not your time.”
That voice familiar yet distant
“WHAT? Who are you? Where am I? Doe I know you?”
“Well that just leaves when, why and how. As you know I can not answer the first as you gave me no context to answer it as for the later three in reverse order yes you know me, second you are here and last why I am the man whom you are named after your grandfather.”
A figure formed before me he stood taller then with a pot belly and piercing blue eyes his skin was wrinkled his shoulders sloped but his voice was strong and power full every thing the way Tye remembered. Even his since of humor that vague yet literal riddle of his it could drive one crazy but there was always meaning in it.
“So Gramps you said I was here but where is here exactly?”
Gramps approached and gently lovingly patted the side of my head.
“Here my boy right here.”
“Ok, I guess I am not going to get an answer that I like. Am I?”
“No you aren’t, but that is the thing about the truth you rarely truly want it.”
“So then what is the truth I won’t like?”
“You sure want to now?”
“Well I am here so you may as well tell me.”
“Very well then. The truth my dear boy is that your time will come. Your life is about to change. In a big way but before it can happen you must fight, Fight and survive. For you will bring about a new world.”
“A new world??”
“Tell me my boy what is the best way to honor those we love?”
“The best way to honor the ones I have loved and lost is to live for them and that is why I live and must continue the fight for those I love would want me to continue no mater the struggle no mater the pain no mater the difficulty’s for of all the things I can do to live is the most powerful statement of love I can show.”
