Click for music video via YouTube!
Click for music video via AMV.org! (Gigantic file size but it's in sync!)

UPDATE: Okay, I tried cropping out the subtitles. I don't know whether or not it helped enhance the viewing pleasure though. ;3 Hope so! I don't think it cut too much out.

I'm too lazy to type out a different description, so here's the one I did for YouTube:
Okay, this is just a PRACTICE video, alrighty? So go easy on me. I'd say this took no more than.. 5 hours. Yeah, not that much effort involved. Hence, PRACTICE. xD

Since "Why Can't I?" is my latest song obsession, I just decided to make a video. Spur of the moment. And I happened to have Full Metal Panic episodes handy.. so.. yeah. You get the point.

I wish I had a better video editing program, really. And I wish I had a way to get rid of those darned subtitles!

Anyway, enjoy the Kaname/Sousuke goodness. :3

BTW, I DO NOT own Full Metal Panic.
I had no choice but to use Windows Movie Maker, btw. xD I wish I had something better. I also would've loved to use Fumoffu and/or TSR, but the episodes I have are ogm/mkv format and I lack the skills to convert them for use on WMM.. D: So I had to make due with just FMP. No big. I didn't try enough, but I doubt I have the motivation to work really hard on a music video for too long. xD

Are AMVs allowed here? I don't really see any, or I'm just not looking hard enough. I'd like to see some more FMP music videos. Hope I'm not breaking any rules. D:

This is actually pretty good. I liked it. Would have been better if you'd gotten rid of the subtitles or used a raw version though. They were pretty distracting.

Thanks for the compliment! Yeah, I want to get rid of the subtitles, but I have no idea how to do that. Cropping them out could be a choice.. but with what program? D: I'm in a pickle!

Kewl :D

I was thinking about doing a Tessa/Sousuke thing with Liz Phair's "Extrordinary". But I just don't have time. :(

I suppose the best way would have been to get your hands on a raw version from the start. How to do it once you've already completed the project is something I couldn't begin to tell you.

I think you're right. Next time I seriously consider making a music video, I'll get the raws. Thanks for the help though.

I don't know what you did to remove the subs, but it looks much better now. Very nicely done.

I like your avatar too. :D

Pretty nice video. :) The song matches the SousukexKaname goodness. The editing is very good. And the fading effects at the end add a nice touch to it. Bravo! :-D

Yea, I like AMVs without the subtitles.

To transcode them into sometihing wmm likes (or adobe prem pro likes) i use vdub, google it. It ill lock up your computer for about 10 minutes while its processing an episode but it works nicely.
