SAR rescue area
Bodyguard Structure
Near 1200 Hr, CA
Sitting in a dark street, the bodyguard building looks so beautiful yet so dark at the same time. Ipod earphones synchronize with my radio communication; I could hear the Teriyaki Boyz rapping and chatter of personnel. The other members had their rifles on safe and checked another person’s armor.
“Sir” said Sergeant Kurz Weber “All rifles have The French kiss AP bullet in weapons chamber. Also, one magazine per member has French kiss as emergency set.”
“Understood” I said “Have all SAR members standby for further orders from Command.”
Clicks from the radio got me to understand that order was acknowledged. Smiling to myself, I hear the sound of all radio chatter stop and then I heard the Commander of the SAR team speak.
“GT, green light to precede, I repeat, green light to proceed. All units execute L.A. Rush. Ground unit open the front entrance and secure the area. Zebra-1, get us down the grass field now!” shouted Captain Santiago.
“Roger Hotel-six” said the transport helicopter over the radio.
Turning to face the men, everyone nodded and like the shadows of the night, we blended with the dark and proceeded to rescue Kaname Chidori. My main weapon is an H&K MP5 with an attached silencer to its end. I got one SSG with an 8x scope capability on my shoulder.
“SRT’s” I said while running “Cover the PRT’s as they plant C4 to the front entrance. SOULS, fire at will.”
Acknowledgement was made and soon enough, I spotted 5 bodyguards outside with a shouldered M4. With Night Vision Glasses, playing in the dark was much fun than wearing those bulky NVG’s stuck to your helmet.
D-d-dd-dd-d-dd-doff!!!
The sound of my H&K was the last thing the men heard from me and being the ninja’s, running very fast was the SRT’s style of stealth before the ECS came along to ruin the fun. I don’t know what is more fun- using The French kiss to kill the guards that also penetrate the things inside the building or using regular AP bullets that just penetrate body armor.
Dom-dom-dom
I guess The French kiss is better in times of this.
SOULS broke down into one team of five, while the SRT and I included waited in the darkness in front of the bodyguard building when the PRT’s stuck a limited amount of C4 to the locked front door.
BOOM
The door whipped out from its place and flew toward a building’s entrance, passing me from five feet. Hand signals to go in were made and the battle was on.
The men went in with their SMG’s and started firing AP bullets. In a tight V formation, the ground unit pushed their way in from incoming startled bodyguards. Nine bodyguards had Assault Rifle’s and Glock 24 as their secondary weapons. The lobby was very huge, about the size of a college lecture class all around.
More Char lees came out from three elevators from the right side of the lobby and from the left side was the stairs, where more of them were coming out from. The advantage for my men was being able to hide behind these stairs that was before a small desk of a secretary.
Dammit; it’s like these guys knew we were coming.
“SRT’s get ready to do a banana split. You, you, you” appointing some of the PRT squad mates “use your HE grenades and throw it over yonder. You men (I was talking to the SOULS) will go forward and conduct a sweep of the place after the grenades blow. Are my orders clear boys?”
“YES Captain!”
I set the volume of my speaker to the max for the men to hear and started the countdown in five seconds.
5…The SRT’s went down while firing their rifles with their legs doing the split.
4…The PRT’s also went down.
3…PRT are crouching between the SRT’s.
2…PRT’s threw a HE grenade behind enemies’ lines.
1…
“NO!!!!!!”
“Mommy!”
The yells and shouts from the bodyguards died down when the SOULS went in to do a sweep of the first floor.
“CLEAR” said Sergeant Weber.
“Good, check the stairs and fire when necessary” I said.
“Roger”
“SRT Command to Hotel-five, first floor is-
The sound of heavy boots coming from the stairway was getting louder. Weber and the SOULS were now in our firing zone and we had to move ahead by breaking the unit in half to make three teams in total in the same battle line.
“Hotel-five, we are encountering more Char lees.”
A static reply from Captain Santiago was disturbing.
“SRT-C, hold your position until R team comes in. S-team, standby for further orders.”
Looking at the PRT’s, they had a poker face on and just nodded at my direction.
“Negative Hotel-five. Requesting reinforcements ASAP from any personnel to first floor.”

I heard Capt. Santiago give the command for GT to start the land invasion. Since I was in the transport ready to rappel, the only mistake to be made was to rappel into the roof and break a leg. My rifle had The French kiss bullet so things are going to be fun.
“Everyone, get ready to go!” said David. “Michelle, Mao Souske, you guys will meet with Ground Unit and S-team first. The rest of you are to follow the plan.”
Looking at Michelle, I smiled at her to wish her luck. Weapon safeties on lock, I attach the cable to my waist with a satisfying ‘click’ and kicked off from the helicopter with others doing the same. It was dark outside and Zebra-1 and the pilot of the helicopter directed the other two transports to circle around the building to engage any enemy and to destroy the self-defense system.
Explosion of self-defense system sparkled on the night sky as I rappelled down. The sky really looks like a firecracker show except it was better.
“Damn I miss doing this kind of shit” I said while landing.
The roof was covered with demolished items that used to be the self-defense system. Disconnecting the cable from my waist, the AR-15 attached behind my back was immediately shouldered and on my hands. Unlocking the safety, I reach into my breast pocket to wear the safety eyeglasses that comes with night vision when in dark places. I created these glasses myself so this invention is not yet in production by any known organizations.
“Ten bodyguards are out and in defense” I said into my speaker cable while I went into cover. David and Souske soon landed and came to my side to get in the building. We had the element of surprise and time was desperate because other SOULS are deploying down towards the heavily armored windows.
“Souske” said David “You and I will split while Ryo covers us”
Nodding in agreement, the roar of the helicopters above covered our footsteps to hunt the prey of the night.
In a crouching position, my AR-15 came to life for the first time. Although the rifle was a virgin, it shot her bullets like a babe would do to her man in the bed. David ran to the left for cover also firing his personal weapon. Souske went to the right, taking out five guys with his M4. The bodyguards were trying too hard to kill us even though they had the same equipment Mithril bought for their SRT’s.
“R-team lead to everyone on roof, helicopters is away” said David.
“Hotel-six, did the three go in?” I radioed David.
I sat in tandem when David replied “Affirmative Lieutenant. Leave the rooftop and join GT. Cranston, I, and the others will rendezvous with you later.”
“Roger Hotel-six. Out.”
I ran to the door with my finger rubbing the trigger. The walls, the floors and the stairs were covered with still-smoking holes from the bullets. The bullets tore the place apart and inferring while running to meet the S-team was that there were more Char lees than expected.
Could this be Mallory’s doing? It’s a possibility, since this building is owned by Mithril that would make it a proprietary bodyguard business. The sign for the elevator was found and I proceeded to where GT was having trouble at.

Captain Cortez
Time: 1210
“Shit, we need more reinforcements” I said.
Bam Bam Bam
Fighting in the dark against the bodyguards, the men were holding up pretty well. Looking at Sergeant Weber firing his rifle at the Char lees, there was no hesitation of shooting them. We still had more ammunition on us and we can hold out for awhile.
“Captain in front of you!” yelled a PRT.
I looked and in time everything stopped. The man from the elevator threw five stars towards my position.
There was no time to dodge it or go down. It was coming in a blinding speed and my weapon won’t be able to shoot it down.
Cortez, standing still will only get you killed. Use your baton and parry whatever comes at you… What makes a man is his word- but his action is what determines everything…
That VOICE!
Taking my automatic 21 inch baton out, only two feet remains until I get killed. I flew up and as though the stars where following me; I did what my conscience told me.
Bing!
“AGGHHHH!” The ninja man got his taste of medicine when all five stars returned back to him by a flick of my baton from mid-air. The man was the last to be seen and the wave of bodyguards stopped for a moment.
“Everyone, let’s move!”
Yeah!
“Damn did you see my bullet hit the dude’s chest? It splattered the whole wall he was at…” said a SRT.
“Nah man, my kill was better. The dude got shot five times in the chest in the same hole” said the old sniper.
Since the electricity got cut off in the entire building, we had to keep our glasses/NV on.
“Area secured Captain” said Kurz.
“Good, let me contact S-team” I said.
“GT to S-team”
“S-team lead, I copy.”
“Ground floor is secured at the moment. Proceed and secure area because we are going up. We can’t risk a wave plundering down here again” I said.
“Roger that Captain, S-team is en route. Counter surveillance, reserve surveillance, S-team is approaching building. Hold your fire and secure inside perimeter over” said S-team leader.
“Affirmative S-team, Counter surveillance out” said Justin.
“Reserve surveillance to S-team, I copy” acknowledged Ji-eun.
Taking a look at the men, there was still adrenaline pumping in them with a look of excitement.
Schick
The sound of reloading came from me, and I grinned.
“Ground unit, proceed into the stairs. Let’s go rescue Angel!”
“YEAH!”

The 3 Musketeers (Michelle, Mao, Souske)
Michelle
Reverse time: 1202
Before rappelling to the roof, Captain Santiago had to change the proceeding of rescuing Chidori a little because of the heavy fire that GT was getting in the ground floor. The Captain chose Mao, Souske, and I to rendezvous with the other SOULS-that were on the bottom first. This designated our call sign to be Three Musketeers. Mao had 3-1, Souske got 3-2, and I had 3-3.
My choice of weapon for this mission is a M203 grenade launcher and the .45 pistol as a secondary weapon. The bullets were changed to penetrate highly bulletproof windows and were also armor piercing bullets. Behind my back though were my golden 9 mil coated with the Golden Dragon. Before I descended from the transport helicopter, Ryo gave me a smile as a charm for luck. His smile made me blush a little and I gave him a wink as I went to land to the window below the roof.
“3-1 and 3-3, you are clear to rappel” said the copilot.
“Affirmative Zebra-2” I said.
“Give them hell down there” Zebra-2 replied with a thumb up.
Ryo, David, and Souske landed on the roof first while Mao and I went to the windows. Their job was to get us enough time to rappel into the windows. Jumping away from the transport helicopter, I flew down very fast and reached the window below the roof with my boots. The windows were very thick. I took out my Golden pistol and I twist my body in a 360 motion while firing on full auto with The French kiss bullet Ryo gave to everyone. Kicking my way in, no one was in the room. Mao came in next when she fired her way in.
“3-3 to 3-2, 3-1 and I are inside the building” I radioed.
Dun, dun, dun.
Suddenly, Souske walks in, who was shooting five bodyguards in a quick spray of bullets. Three bodyguards came out of the door we were going to get out of. Souske looked behind to see if we were coming.
“Mao!”
“Souske, down” I cried as I shot the three bodyguards with a grenade launcher. Mao shot the Char lees to keep the guys in a cage.
Dat dat dat dat dat dat dat dat dat dat… The sound from the shot Char lees held the trigger to their machine guns until their last gasp for air left them. Mao, Souske, and I proceed into the stairs.
The stairs was dark and this cause we to stop for a minute and wear the safety glasses/night vision Ryo gave us earlier.
“How long is it to rendezvous with GT?” asked Mao.
“About ten minutes with no interruptions” said Souske.
“Okay, let’s go walk down now” I said.
“Wait”
Mao and I looked at Souske, who was looking down the stairway hearing voices. With his hands, he gave the signal to shoot them.
Pof pof pof pof.
Running down the stairs, the bodyguards were already dying. A young man saw me and tried to throw his pistol away. “Michelle, you’re-”
BAM
Whipping behind me, Mao shot the man next to the young man who tried to shoot me.
“Michelle…” said the man.
Souske and Mao just stared at me and I said “Go ahead, I’ll meet up with you soon.”
“Right”
Walking over to the man, I closed my eyes to hold the tears. The young man…was my boyfriend. It was the first and last time I will ever see him like this.
“Michelle…”
“I’m sorry.” Taking my pistol out, I gave the cubic zirconium ring he bought me to him and ran down the stairs.
My earpiece spoke and it was from S-team.
“S-team to Three Musketeers, we’re waiting but GT has gone ahead via the express elevator.”
Souske spoke in a hurried voice and I heard more gunfire echoing up from the stairway.
“Roger S-team, we are coming hot in eight minutes. A char lee we just shot worked for Mithril.”
“Affirmative 3-2. I’ll tell Intelligence and check what the status of the building is.”
“Roger. Out.”
The next stairway was an ambush.
“Mao, Souske, I got your six!” I yelled.
The two went into division tactics and we formed a line, running forward and shot the Char lees like a tank. The stairway turned out to be the last stairway and bursting through the door, a group of men were waiting for us. They were the SOULS.
“You’re early” said Kurz.
Mao was about to say something when Ryo came out of the elevator. He and David were grinning.
“Looks like we weren’t late for the party then” said Ryo.
“Are all the Char lees dead?” I asked while taking out my Golden pistol.
“Cranston took the PRT’s for a shooting lesson” said Ryo.
“And I got a demolition lesson from a PRT for the first time in my life. I never thought it would be this fun” said David. David and Ryo were exchanging smirks to each other.
Looking to the stairway, Souske, David, Mao, and Kurz were re-loading their weapons.
“S-team, unless we say so” radioed David “Stay there and guard the area. There may be other Char lees waiting for another opportunity.”
S-team leader acknowledge and gave orders for a defense position.
“Hotel-six, Hotel-six, this is G—” Static from Captain Cortez’s radio was heard.
David went to the bathroom and did not have an earpiece on him. I called GT back though.
“GT, this is 3M. What’s your status over?”
“3m, we found Angel’s cell location. We are t-taking enemy fire from s-s-sas—”
“GT, you are breaking up. Confirm status. If you cannot respond, tap the receiver twice over.”
David came running toward me with a worried look.
“I found wiretapping in the bathroom. The wires could only have been from the Intelligence Department.”
My radio tapped twice with a loud beep. That sound was the only thing I remembered that made everyone hurry to Ground team’s position.
